Yup I have run thick stuff like 32mm MDF (whats that 1 1/2\" ?) or 50mm timber. I just do 2 or more passes and adjust my waste board thickness each time so as to not stress out my motor.

We are pretty adept at this kind of thing In South Africa! One incident in particular that stands out in my mind was in the board store of a company where a forklif driver set off the \"Domino effect\" and a pack of about 50, 9' x 6' sheets of chip started to fall over. Some superman thoug...

Hi Bill. It is as is suspected. the whole entry system is a little clunky maybe the guys at Thermwood can look at a few little improvements like being able to go to an item in the list and make corrections. Pretty please. I suppose you are right about using Exel but sometimes it is nice to have a qu...

RN Manual Panel input screen

Is It possible to edit items that are entered in the manual panel input screen? It seems that once you have entered the line item you can not, and have to delete it and start again.

Morning Forrest. Lucky fish I only have 4 holders, but I did buy the 9 spindle drilling head to do all my 32mm in line drilling. I suppose you could set up bits to drill 35mm and 20 mm holes for KDs & hinges. If you had those cutters set up in RN it would use them fdor drilling ops instead of pe...

Hi there Forrest. You could do drilling ops with the bits you mention but it is not worth taking up holders with diameter specific cutters because all the holes you mention can be cut very quickly as pocketing operations by the cutter set up as the pocketing tool in the tool settings of RN.

Hi Taz Thought I would forward the contents of a mail I received from BobCad for your information. I have not tried the software myself yet, I am too busy getting eCabs & Rolling nest under my belt. It looks very good and would probably be great for 3D work and signage. I get by very well with e...

You can print the lables required for the sheet being cut, you can tell how many parts there are on the sheet lay out and then you just select print from number such and such to so and so as required. When you are finished cutting that shet you go back into the nest and print the next batch from the...

Hi Paul

I have had this happen when printing a batch of lables and I then just put print from lable NO.x to lable NO. y in the printer options and print the balance of the job that way, sould not be a problem with most printers

Jolly good thinking Brad, this along with some other basic additions would be most welcome. Whilst we are discussing Rolling nest what does the new DXF layer LWpolyline do, and what is the syntax?
