Part tabbing question.
When we cutout counter top buildup with the CS45 we usually let it skin the parts then finish them up with a hand router, how do we setup control nesting to tab them instead. They are usually 2 1/2" wide by up to 120" long, what determines tab spacing, length and thickness?

Re: Cutting a 45 angle in a nest
I don't know, we went through this when we first got the machine and it always tried to model the 45 with a compression bit doing it in 3 steps we could never get it to grab the 45 deg Amana bit, not to mention the extra part clearance you would need for this bit to get in and work. Re: Cutting a 45 angle in a nest
I'm sorry, to answer your original question, we leave the parts square in Ecabs and put the 45 angle on with the fore mentioned program.

We wrote a small program at the controller and put the part at the flip op location and run a 45 deg bit on them.

Re: Flip op / label problem!
Ver 5.54 didn't fix the problem, it moved the error to another line" If[(askwasteboard=1)and(msgboxansw=2)]then M81L999" then I get program error "Invalid afl expression" the workaround is close to the last time, hit enter, move down 3 lines, press start button, answer yes, hit e...

Re: Snooker cue case machining ??
Dale, I can't get the pictures of the jig to upload, but its 3/4 laminated on both sides so that that it sucks down well and held in place by other scrap laminated pieces against our homemade flip-op jig that is roughly 72x30 and 6 inches wide so that it contacts all 3 popup pins. The jig is pockete...
