Re: clipped corner cabinet
Thanks John I should have used a better description. I need to angle "clip" the front corner of a base cab on the end of a run. It will be clipped on the right hand side. Hope that is clearer.

clipped corner cabinet
Does anyone have a clipped corner cabinet that they would like to share? I'm having a little problem getting my head around how to do these.
Thanks
Thanks

Lithophanes
I know this isn't along the line of what ecabs is all about, but it does show what is possible with a Thermwood machine and the accuracy that is built in. It can also give you an idea of another product to offer - up sell on your next job. On the bottom of the page is a 360 lithophane - cut on my 45...

Re: Cutting a 45 angle in a nest
Ryan ,
Please tell us more!!
Would we make the Profile in the MDF door part rather than part editor? I've looked at the profile modeler help at the controler and can find nothing that leads me anywhere.
Thanks for jumping in!!

Re: Cutting a 45 angle in a nest
Again thanks Terry,
I hadn't thought of the extra clearnance issue. You're right no more than it is needed the extra setup isn't bad.

Re: Cutting a 45 angle in a nest
Thanks Terry,
But I wondering if there would be a way in the profile modeler (or any other way) to set up the 45 bit and have it make the cut one pass right in the nesting process.
I've written a program also that would do it against a fixture offset - just wanting to avoid an additional setup.

Cutting a 45 angle in a nest
Putting a 45 on cabinet parts with the part editor is easy. After doing that how does one go about telling the machine to pick up a 45 bit with in the nest? Can it be done?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Please Thermwood let us go back to V5...!!!!!
I've said it before on this forum and I'll do it again now. I started with a home build router. There are hardware issue, controller issues and cad- cam issues. If you have a problem where each issue is by a different "vender" no one takes responsibility. I own a thermwood router and the m...

Re: angled shelves
Thanks Kerry, I was figuring that since the setting is on the Add shelf tab that the setting had to be established before the shelf was added. Got it now.

Re: angled shelves
I'm home now and I can't even get the fixed shelf to give me the option. Both fixed and adjustable are greyed out. Both in the main section and also in the shelf editor part.
