Re: pie shape lower

Kerry,
That is it. I still need to get my head around the corner cab numbers and what all changes. Display panel is not a problem.
Thanks,
Fred

Re: pie shape lower

Kerry that is it. Measurements above are not necessarily what I need. I'm mostly just trying to figure out how you did that. We get all different measurements and right now in the dark ages esentially making on table saw.
Thx

pie shape lower

Is there any way to do a pie shaped lower cabinet with less than 90degree angle? We have a number of these to do and I can't seem to figure a way to do them. Front of the box is the 20" leg.
Thanks,
Fred

Any ideas when this might be available. I saw at the Las Vegas show and would like to begin using in some applications.

Re: Slatwall

John, We do a lot of slatwall. Very easy. I use Whiteside T-slot bits. Feed the control a DXF (attached is a 4x8 3"offset). Cut it in the air first. You don't want to plunge into the material. You want to plunge off the material. Also set your ramp in for centerline dado to .01 or something sma...

Re: Machine Backup

Ryan,
Thanks for the info.

Michael,
I use that free sync program MS gives away and copy over the network twice a week. Problem was I moved desktop computers and frazzled the copying app and couldn't remember the vitals.

Thanks,
Fred

Machine Backup

I know this topic has been discussed before, but I'm having problems finding the post on the board. What files are needed to be backed up? I know Rolling Nest on D: but not sure the stuff on C:
Thx

Re: Off fall labels

Bummer, just updated my control nesting software... it used to just label the off fall w/out the cut. I have the operators doing the workaround, but have to agree with Dave. I hate workarounds as I have multiple operators and keeping everyone straight is real headache. Please put my vote in for doin...

Blind Dado VS Dowels

I'm curios as to who all is using what for joints. We do a lot of the KD fasteners but a number of our products are shipped assembled and I find myself re-thinking what we are doing. I don't have the case clamp or boring machine for dowels. Right now, we mostly do full dado and then screw from outsi...

Re: How long should the computer last?

Thom,
I just had to replace ours 3 weeks ago. It was the mother board that went. It was 4 years old. Thanks to THM support I think I was down for just a day with a new board overnight-ed in to Phoenix. About an hour to swap out the boards, pretty straight forward procedure.

Re: Finding out how many sheets have been cut

Neville, At one time I had the timer writing the file name and execution time to simple text log file using AFL. As I recall it was really simple. However, it did not give a sheet count and was just thinking about this feature today as guys were moving stacks of wood around. It would be really nice ...

shop cart?

Thermwood folks. In your live stream image from the IWF show at the end of the machine is an interesting looking shop cart. See pic attached. Is that a shop cart? and if so, could you tell a little about it.
Thanks,
Fred

Re: Offsetting hinges

On a slab door with the edgebander, we have some thin laminate pieces that we will just send through the bander with the door covering the hinge holes. The trimmer will ride up where the laminate is, but on the thintape, a razor blade knocks it off pretty quick.

Re: Shop Drawings Definition

Mike and Gary, Thanks for the input. You guys have confirmed what was in my gut. Mike those drawings you provided are a whole lot more detailed then I've ever produced. Very well done. I got a little spooked because this request came from a large corp and I'm scratching my head thinking I don't want...
