Re: How to add Dados to stretcher?
Thanks Scott, but my problem is getting the dado into the bottom of the back stretcher, where a 1/4" back will fit into. I am able to get the dado in the cabinet sides and deck, just not the bottom of the stretcher. Thanks! -Chris It's like Daniel say's -- go into construction settings and cho...

I understand that are different ways to do the same....

Re: How to create fluted coloumns / arched panels?
So I've been using ecabinets for quite a few years now, but have never really gotten into some aspects of the program. Just worked within the constraints of what I know well, and made it work as best as I could. I'm currently working on a project that I really can't present as I would like, with wh...

Re: Door Materials
Well now, this is exactly what I was looking for. I don't even have to save the door as a new door, I can just change the materials on a generic door. Perfect. Thanks guys :D If you want to show a few different door (or material) colours on a job you can open your job and change colours and do a Sa...

Heath -- You download it to your IMPORT file and then open in DISPLAY PART EDITOR and then add colour or texture and save as a SAMPLE hsf.

Re: Adding Corbels
A corbel is added the same way as a Display Object. Once selected then Assoc to a wall and then go to wall view and place it where you want it.

Re: can I USE .dwg files in ecabs?
If you have a nice clear screen while in LDE then just do a Print Screen and paste to Irfanview and print it any size or do corrections before printing. You can also change it to B & W or grayscale. FWIW .

Re: can't install eCabs, IE demanded?
Yes you have to have IE installed as Ecabs needs it. I found out the hard way and had to re install it when I first started. You don't have to use IE as your browser but you must have it installed. IE is a lot better now and I use Google Chrome so IE is just in the background of Ecabs.

Thanks Kerry - I must have lingering PE cuts.Kerry Fullington wrote:Wally,
Your cabinet works fine for me.
Try opening the cabinet in the cab editor then right click and choose Remove Part Editor Cuts/From Entire Cabinet and let the cabinet re-generate and see if you can get it to work in the part editor.

Re: Corner Cab Bug
At the back Kerry-- I don't want any miter there but it keeps it even when I change it. I want a square of 7.5" cut from the corner (to go around a post) not a miter.
