Color Coded Labels

I saw color colored labels at the Greensboro show but I can't figure out where the interface is to print them. I have figured out the symbols for the dymo printer. Any ideas?

Re: A New Direction

Ken, I think this is a fabulous idea. I can feel the big software and machine companies quaking in their boots right now. This move really matures ecabs. It is going to finally shut up the other guys that keep implying that ecabs is some sort of hobbiest software because it's only used on Thermwood ...

Re: Dell laptop?

I have a Dell Precision M65 and I bought a used M90 (per the specs that used to be pub'd on the forum- I don't know where they went) off ebay a few weeks ago with a square deal warranty for about $450. I don't know of a cheaper way to get a laptop that will do well with ecabs.

Re: Egdetape Thickness on Label

I second the ability to customize labels. I would love to have the ability to color code labels and be able to print barcodes on them. Thanks

Re: eCabinet Systems, the economy, reality and change

Ken, I don't pretend to understand the complexity of connecting to non-TW machines. I would like to suggest that you consider charging to connect to other types of CNC equipment. For ecabs to truly become a total solution that shops can grow with, it needs to be able to talk to other types of machin...

I use decimals. Here is a screen shot. I am using sheet goods. I'll try what you said Forrest.

Re: Face Frame won't go thicker than .75 for sheet goods

When I click on the frame thickness box, a bunch of different values appear for thickness less than .75, but no value greater than .75 shows up. BTW- when are you going to invite me over to your new shop?

Face Frame won't go thicker than .75 for sheet goods

Why can't I select a sheet good material that is thicker than .75 for my face frames? I have some MDF that is .765. Any ideas?

Re: Door/Drawer Editor Feedback

[quote="Neville Bastian"]Hi Ben, We are very disappointed with the Door Drawer program in Ecabinets. We have experimented with laying three patterns over the top of each other to get the door design we require. This involves halting the program before it does its final cut in nesting so is...

3D view in Shelf/Partition Editor

Would anyone else like to have the ability to zoom/rotate/wireframe/explode in the shelf/partition editor? I spend a lot of time going back and forth between it and the main view for several reasons: 1. To make sure I have the adjustable shelf holes correct 2. To make sure I have blind dados right o...

Re: Door/Drawer Editor Feedback

I too would like some improvements to MDF Door machining: 1. The ability for at least 3 toolpaths instead of 2.The traditional MDF door would have one tool for the panel raise, one for the panel bead and one for the outside profile. Right now to machine these doors we have to run the outside profile...

Easy way to add fillers

Does anybody have an easy and quick way to add fillers while in custom layout? Adding them in custom layout is real tricky. I normally add them as a diplay panel to the cabinet while in cabinet editor, but it's a little cumbersome, especially when you have to resize the cabinet. Any ideas or tricks?
