Re: Cutting a part in PE

Brian, try creating the closed contour in as a dxf file and then bring it into the contour editor and then cut it out. I find it to be much easier and faster than creating something in the part editor that is a little more than a simple geometry.

Re: Blind Dado VS Dowels

Hi Fred, We use 2 sided melamine for most of our cabinets. We usually KD the backer and we'll blind dado the top and deck. Usually we use a pilot hole when the cabinet isn't an open cabinet - this helps in assemble with less clamping. Open sided cabinets we'll use clamps in the assembly. We have fou...

Re: New style locator pins

Does anyone have the newer style flip up pins on the CS45? How do you like them? We have auto pop-up pins on our CS 43 and I can't imagine using the old style that I saw being used on a CS 41. These auto pins work tremendously well. With them being automated to come up and go down prior to the cutt...

Yes, either just restarting Ecabinets or fully restarting your PC.

Re: Huge problems with Ecab version 6 build 6

Dan, V6 B6 has been working great for me! Haven't really had any major issues like what you are talking about. It seems as though some others have had some weird issues and they rebooted and the issues have gone away.

Have you been able reproduce the problems?

Re: Wrapping paper storage

Administrator please put this in another forum if it belongs. I wasn't sure where to post it. This probably should be in the "Lounge." Hafele sells an organization line used in garages, laundry rooms, and craft rooms called "Omni Track." Here is the link: http://www.hafele.com/u...

Thanks Georgi for the input! I checked that out and I don't have the word "settings" in my machine.ini file.

Re: cool CN 5.60

As far as I have seen it looks great!

The only problem I am having so far (I haven't run anything yet today) is the fact that I cannot see the percentage yield. It goes off the window. Is there any setting to adjust with this?

Thanks for all your efforts TWD!!!

Re: Drill Hole Settings

now just need to figure that out. Rob, open up the "hole hardware editor" and bring in the hole pattern. Find out where the holes need to be placed and the depths you want (do this by hovering your mouse over the existing yellow geometry and the settings will be seen). You will need to ad...

Re: Drill Hole Settings

Rob, the problem is the hole pattern for the hinge plates are too shallow. You need to open the "Hardware Hole Editor" and adjust the depth of those holes to the proper depth.

Re: Drill Hole Settings

Hi Rob,

1. You need to use the "upload attachment" tab below.
2. click the "choose file" button and find the cabinet
3. "add file" button
4. submit
