If anything your running to slow which may have caused your bit to overheat and break. You said you heard the motor bog down and stop before breaking the bit. Did the motor start back immediatly after breaking the bit or did the control emergency stop?

Micheal,

That has been a suggestion from the start. I'm sure the programers are working to implement this. For now this has been an affective workaround for me.

How I apply crown in room.

Guys, I don't know how you guys are doing crown and I'm sorry I didn't mention this sooner. I simply apply crown to the top of a cabinet and delete all the other parts. You can do many different configurations for instance, left end finished, right end finished, both ends finished, or just across fr...

Kyle, Since you are planning on having your library machined, I hope you are working closely with a cnc shop before going to all the trouble. There are alot of things to consider in terms of machining that you possibly won't think of in the design phase. A cnc shop has first hand knowledge of the de...

Mike, From my experience and others I have found that changing thickness at twd. stage in certain senarios causes problems. Hence I've never considered it reliable. One area is partitions will be off centered. The other place is dado depth will sometimes be machined as if the material is still thick...

There is no way to do a true elipse in ecabs. you may be able to create the geometry in cad and export to ecabs only I'm not sure it will machine. I'll take a try later.

Do not change thickness on existing materials. You will have many problems with doing this. Add a new material with average thickness then change sheet stock at room or batch level. Some members have found it prudent to create complete libraries in certain materials such as 3/4\" melamine or 3/...

I had this happening on some oddball cabs and found that going back to the main editor before adding the doors has helped the problem.

Hope this helps,

Ray,

This was a bug in 5.1.2 and was supposed to be fixed in some situations. However it was only documented a time or two. Scott Vaal will need to respond to this.

Mark T, I'm having an issue similar to yours. This occured about 3 months ago as well after an update. I'm running 5.27 now. Whats really interesting is that I ran 3 sets of drawers with no problems. Then nested a set this morning out of different material and got the issue of cut thru to deep. Give...
