Re: Linux Fedora
I am running Diablo 3 and Warcraft on Linux Mint and Wine 1.5.10 so my bet is eCab will run as well. Might try it myself as well.

CN Optimization
I think it'll be nice if the CN could be optimized for speed a bit. Same way eCabinets is after adding a bunch of new features. Sometimes the amount of time it needs to lead is ridiculous. And that is from the main window clicking on the CN button. Inside CN going to the cabinet part list might be e...

Blue Screen
I've been getting blue screen on one of our machines. I really need to fix that as it's getting worse and worse. What are our options? Has any of you guys dealt with anything like that?

Is v5.70 taking care of wasteboard thickness if you have nemi table instead? Both our machines have it

Re: CN:5.70 issue on waste board settings
So you have to update the thickness every time the wasteboard is resurfaced? I was going to update it on my machine as v6.69 is cutting flip cuts on the face but now I am not sure. I think v6.70 has the same issue though. That's really irritating.

Re: Flip side issue
My problem occurs on the same tool that is easy to isolate so my operator decided to skip it whenever the machine picks it up and move on to the next tool.

Flip side issue
I think that v5.70 addresses that issue but not quite I believe. I'm attaching some files with export and pictures. We don't do full sheet flips and it's still doing some of the flip operations as face operations. It's happening with our 306 tool. Anyways check it may be the issue was solved in v5.7...

Re: Machine lash, acceleration, or what?
Jeremy, You can lower the accelerations by adding in a ramp/acceleration macro. G800 through G809. G800 is factory settings and each one above drops the acceleration by 10%. So, the G801 will reduce the accels by 10%, the G802 by 20% etc. until G809 by 90%. Scott, where can we add that and how. We ...

Blue Screen
I've been getting the blue screen on one of our machines. In the past two working days I got it twice. I think that eventually something is going to give and it's going to be the end of the PC. How do we proceed from here or there?

Doesn't work Rick. I never actually changed anything in the nVidia control panel. It's strange.

Screen Freezes
I've been experiencing some screen freezing mainly in eCabinets but also in Solidworks. When I have a cabinet opened and say at some point I want to rotate it the screen is unresponsive. I have to minimize eCabinets screen or go to construction settings and then cancel. I don't even need to rebuild ...

G-Code Verification Software/ Backplot
I've been wondering if any of you have been using any backplot software that could be installed on the CNC computer for operators to verify/ check understand what the program/ machine will be doing. Does Mastercam have something like that? Even if we have to buy it? The in program backplot and 3D ve...

Re: Pop-up Pins
We bought our two machines about year and a half apart. The newer one has a new style pins which are stronger and have no movement when engaged. So we asked if it's possible to get the same on the older machine. Of course CNC Automation were happy to do it for us. Now both my operators flip parts wi...
