Go to the link below and open the Control Nesting Manual. Go to page 93 and you'll find the layer names.
Hope this helps you out.

Re: cross section view
Thanks Forrest. That's what I ended up doing. Just thought the ability to use the cross section tool would be cool.

Re: cross section view
So I can't just take one cabinet to the LDE and get a cross section?
Thanks for the info.

cross section view
Can anyone explain why the Cross Section View options are grayed out? The help instructions are pretty clear. The cabinet is selected. The red line never appears.

Add the doors before putting the fixed shelf in. The only way I know how to do it.

Re: cutlist and nest show different quanity
If you create the cutlist before nesting, the number you get is an estimate. Always run the nest first, then the cutlist.

Re: Aspire export/import
The .NC file created with Aspire is not imported into Control Nesting but is run from the Super Control like any .NC file. The post you selected will probably work. You may want to look at the .NC file you create to see that it does what you want. I modified a post slightly to get what I wanted. As ...

Re: Print Engine Error
Just out of curiosity I tried the export option at the machine and the desktop version. Both display the error. Never use export but there does seem to be a problem there.

Re: THM sync on Win XP control
Jeremy,
I just went through this. I think the solution was to run the export function on your machine and import that into the desktop version. That should get all your settings.

Thanks for the tip, Forrest. I'm enjoying how quickly I can nest, print and create the cnc file with the desktop version.

Re: THM Desktop on 10 year old machine
Thanks Josh. Ran my first job out of THM Desktop yesterday and no issues. It saved me a whole bunch of time.
Do you export from THM to the desktop version when tooling changes?

Re: THM Desktop on 10 year old machine UPDATE
With a little help from Thermwood, we resolved the problem I was having. The desktop version has all my settings and tooling from the control. I would still like to hear from those that have been using the desktop version for a while. Have you encountered any issues running programs created on the d...

THM Desktop on 10 year old machine
I've purchased THM Desktop and can't run the sync program on my Windows XP control. Anyone using this on a machine like mine? Please PM me if you can.
Thank you.
Thank you.

I just created the twd for the same job without changing material thickness. The drawer boxes are the correct depth.

Re: Cabinet changes/deleted after CNC
David,
The cutlist in eCabs has the correct drawer side length. What was nested at the router was shorter than what was designed.
