Scott,
it loads ok but closes if I try to adjust the cabinet. I've attached a simple 1 (I hope). System is Windows XP.
Thanks

Problem with the PE causing Ecabs to close
I've started having a problem with Ecabs closing every time I try to use a cabinet with PE cuts applied. Cabinets I've used before now cause the program to crash. I can create a new cabinet & apply cuts, but if I try to change anything afterwards it closes. Nothing on my system has changed excep...

Load screen running slowly.
Hi there, I have a problem with the load screen in 5.59 being very slow to respond. It can take 5 mins to clear a job, twice that to load. I dont think it relates to file size, it can be as slow with a few panels in manual panel input. It first ocurred with 5.58, tried defragging & running repai...

Re: Render Room Layout Crash
Hi Elaine,
had the same glitch. The problem was a raked wall, angled top. When I deleted & replaced it rendering was fine.
Good luck

Entry point not found
hi,
I'm having a problem openning ecabs. I get the message Proceedure entry point LiImageDataDecode could not be located in the dynamic link library LightworksDLL.dll.
I've recently moved to a new computer, but it was running fine last night. Any help appreciated.

Paul,
there's a tick box on the settings screen lets you disable outline cuts. Does that help?

Re: Profiling in a nest
Ryan, thanks for the prompt response. Nesting doors works fine, its other panels. For instance, a fluted pillaster with 3 identical flutes, drawn in ecabs with a 12mm spherical cutter that matches 1 set up in the machine. I expect it to make 1 pass for each flute with that cutter. Instead, the contr...

Profiling in a nest
When I try to apply a profile in a nest using custom tools, I get strange results. If interior & exterior MDF door tools are enabled, it will use those for 1 region each regardless of the diameter of tool. If they are disabled, the program will model a profile even if a tool to match the profile...

Thom,
I had a problem with the vdu caused by the perspex cover slipping & pressing on the on/off switch below it. Could that be happening?

Todd, similar problem. Here is Ryan's solution. It sounds like the Daylight value for tool being called to perform Pocket cuts, is not entered in the Tool Manager of the Thermwood control (F10, F9, F2). You can look in the SETTINGS of Control Nesting, under the Pocket tool setup, to find the dia. of...

Justin,
I used the MDF Asym-3 tool in place of mine & the arch modelled & cut perfectly. But it would be good to know what was wrong with the tool.
Thanks,
Sean
