Re: concave wall library shelving

David,
You just have to figure out your deck and top using .dxf files for partition dadoes. I am knee deep into this reception desk now and will post pictures of the completed project next week. Many, many hours of eCabinets planning and cutting!

Re: Irfanview

Thanks so much George! Maybe later, when you have time, it will work. Email may work better if the forum still does not work...

Thanks Again!

Re: Irfanview

Sorry for the confusion. Irfanview will only convert image files from one graphics format to another and will not convert to .stl. That is another issue. I just found that it won't open a .dwg file without registering/purchasing CAD image DLL. Here is a .jpg of what I see when I try to open a .dwg. ...

Irfanview

Help! I'm trying to open and convert .DWG files from Sub-Zero/Wolf. Irfanview is telling me that I need to purchase CAD Image DLL to view a clear image. It looks to me that that "Plug-In" is already there. Has anyone had any luck converting these files to .stl? It looks like there has been...

Re: Profile Modeler Question

Kerry, I made this from MDF a few years ago. It was modeled in PM and did not use a custom tool. I think that I had to offset my tool by half of its dia. to make it work. I think you suggested that to me at the time. I do remember that my problem was showing up in eCabinets. I'm not sure when I'll g...

Re: Profiling

Stephen, I make my fluted panels as a cabinet back with 1/4" partitions. I replace my 1/4" endmill bit with a 1/2" round nose bit. I don't do a chamfer on the edges but you should be able to use a 45 degree chamfer bit as a custom tool. Another option would be to do the chamfer as a r...

Re: 5/8" Dado Nesting as a 1/4"?

If only the height is changed to at least 22.75, dadoes are correct. :? MAYBE all other cabinets in your batch that are taller than 22.75 are O.K. :?:

Re: 5/8" Dado Nesting as a 1/4"?

Hey Darrel, This is odd and sounds like a bug to me. The issue is in the eCabinets NEST, not only at the machine. It looks fine in Cabinet Editor. If I take this cabinet and only change the size to at least a 23" square box, problem solved. If I change left end to full width blind dado, problem...

CN 5.59 Tabs?

Are Tabs still an option with CN 5.59? I can't find any settings options for Tabs.

Re: Help with DXF

Hey Guys!

I finally got my sign done. Thanks to all of you for taking the time to help me out. I was able to cut in one pass with a very sharp 1/8" bit. The sign is solid Maple. The letters will be painted black and face is to be stained a cherry color. Thanks again all! You're the best!

Brian
