Re: Can't add Refridgerator

So, if you just create one wall with nothing on it can you place a refrigerator on it? Are you trying to place this refrigerator into a big cabinet by any chance?

Re: Fuzz issues with CARB certified Baltic Birch???

The easiest way to determine whether it is Russian made or Chinese made Baltic Birch should be to ask your distributor. Just doing a quick search I see Chinese companies that are selling what they call Baltic Birch. Of course, like everyone else, if the Russians can get the Chinese to make Baltic Bi...

Re: Fuzz issues with CARB certified Baltic Birch???

Is this domestic material or the Chinese crap? If it is domestic you can just call the manufacturer and ask them about the material. I have seen all kinds of weirdness with the Chinese imports, including stringy stuff and overlapping layers.

Re: How to see door material...

I think your only current option at this time is to name the slab door something that indicates your material, like PF Maple or A1 Maple.

Re: Need to make a door with a center style

You can also use this method to create pre-hung passage doors. Sorry, I don't have any door knobs.

Re: Need to make a door with a center style

Glenn, I case you didn't notice, I posted the same thing earlier. This is not a great alternative to having a versatile door editor. The doors that you create this way may be re-sizable, but they can not be placed automatically when an opening is selected, they will not be replaced if a cabinet is s...

Re: After the bugs are fixed in V6

What I would prefer is to be able to change the construction settings and defaults for all the cabinets in a selected directory.

Re: Associate a hole pattern

Yeah, associating the holes to the hardware is now done in the Cabinet/Assembly Editor. I think it would still be nice if you could setup default hole associations for hinges, slides and RTA in the hardware database. Then when a hinge, slide or RTA item is selected the default Hole Pattern would als...

Re: PROBLEMS WITH DOOR EDITOR

Karin,

See if you can determine which DLL is causing the problem when the program crashes.

Re: PROBLEMS WITH DOOR EDITOR

Yep, this sounds like a problem that I had last year with V5.2. It had to do with the mfc80.dll file. I would be curious as to whtat the message is when the program crashes. I don't believe that issue was ever resolved. I fixed it myself on my system, but at a risk of eternal damnation and hell fire...

Yes, it would really be nice to be able to change anything in the Batch Editor that you can in the Custom Layout Editor.

Re: After the bugs are fixed in V6

Yes, it would be nice to have a custom door editor in Version 7. I think that might have been on one of my previous wish lists. I think it would just take enhancements to the Thermwood Door Editor.

Re: Need to make a door with a center style

Well, at this point you won't be able to do a re-sizable "door" with a mid-style in the software. What I have done to simulate doors with mid-rails that re-size is to make a door out of a face frame and then use a slab door of the desired thickness for the panel. I then inset the door (pan...

Re: Problem with CE cost sheet

How are you doing the Cost Sheet Report? It still does not work at all in the Cabinet/Assembly Editor. I reported that bug during the beta test, but I guess it fell through the cracks. To re-create that bug: Open a cabinet. Select Reports, then Cost Sheet and nothing happens. Cut List and Buy List R...
