So, if you just create one wall with nothing on it can you place a refrigerator on it? Are you trying to place this refrigerator into a big cabinet by any chance?

Is this domestic material or the Chinese crap? If it is domestic you can just call the manufacturer and ask them about the material. I have seen all kinds of weirdness with the Chinese imports, including stringy stuff and overlapping layers.

I think your only current option at this time is to name the slab door something that indicates your material, like PF Maple or A1 Maple.

Yep, this sounds like a problem that I had last year with V5.2. It had to do with the mfc80.dll file. I would be curious as to whtat the message is when the program crashes. I don't believe that issue was ever resolved. I fixed it myself on my system, but at a risk of eternal damnation and hell fire...
