Re: Winter in Joplin, MO.
Good grief. I'll take the snow. When I lived in Arkansas we got a lot of ice. That stuff is scary. It is heavy on the trees and power lines. We had a black out one night with an ice storm. I had 10 pine trees in my front yard. We sat in the dark in the living room and listened to what seemed like a ...

Winter in Joplin, MO.
Just thought I would share a couple photos of snow. This is the deepest I have seen it in Joplin. The drift next to the house is as tall as the railing which is 3' and 1' above the ground. The pile in the front is 4' deep. Notice the snow next to the vehicles. I shoveled yesterday and now you can't ...

Sliding Door Hardware
Does anyone use sliding cabinet door hardware? If so, what is your favorite? I have a cabinet that will have a single slide set of doors. They will not be passing. Any suggestions? I have found several kinds but I am not sure which is best. I am looking for long wear as well as nice look. Thanks, John

Cherry Fireplace Surround
Cherry fireplace surround. Minwax Red Mahogany stain. The mantle shelf is a solid piece of cherry that is 2" thick, 8" wide and 80" long. Sure had fun building it.

Texture Match?
When I put a door on a cabinet it changes my face frame to the wood and color of my door. Isn't the door supposes to be able to be changed to match the face frame? The face frame still says it is the color I originally set but is now the same as the door. What am I doing wrong?

Change Door Color?
Can anyone tell me why I can't change door colors? I am using the CRP-10 Conestoga door. This is the one I usually use. I have the color in my board stock with all the information but it won't change. I have done this many times before with not problem. It seems that since upgrading eCabs I can't do...

Re: I am looking for a new e-mail server
George,
I have a gmail account that I use. As far as a server on my computer, I use Windows Live Mail. It is ok but I liked Outlook Express much better. Didn't Windows Live Mail come with your Windows 7? Try it, you may like it.

Re: Waterborne Stain and Finish
Thanks Kerry. I have been told by several that the grain rises a lot with WB stains. They say use a sealant but does that allow the stain to soak in after the sealer is applied? I looked at Target and it seems really good. They offer a lot of information much like Gemini.

Waterborne Stain and Finish
Is anyone familiar with Gemini WB stains and finishes? I am doing a LEED house and they are wanting, at best, low VOC plywood, stain and finishes. Gemini seems to know what they are doing. Anyone have any advice?

Re: Adding a new topic
I agree that it should focus on the software. Would this type of a question be good for the 'lounge?' This forum was started for 'extra' stuff that didn't pertain to the software indirectly. That's my two cents (not really worth two cents.)
