Re: Is rendering playing up for anyone else?
Mark, A couple of things you might look at. First, you have a lot of light in that room for a render. (look at the flare on your floor) I would probably just use two, maybe three fixtures for that room and turn the intensity down. I rarely use the down lights either, I have the best luck with the 4 ...

Jeff,
When this happens, Instead of using the Print Icon,
Click On File and then Print or press CTRL+P to print your documents.
Always works for me.

Re: Options for Line drawings
Chris, Mark and I have talked about this in the past and I don't have a solution, but I still don't see why you wouldn't do most of this in the Line Drawing Editor. Use some print to pdf drivers if you need to work in architectural size documents. I use Bluebeam Revu. Clipboard01.jpg Drawing cabinet...

Forrest,
I used to have that all the time. Very annoying. A new computer fixed it for me.

Re: Savingknotched slab door
JR,
Go to the Cabinet Editor and open the Door Drawer Front Editor from there and select a slab door and you can modify it, add constraints and save it to your library. You must start from the cabinet editor.

Re: Edit pocket depth
Rob,
Take your cabinet to the cabinet editor,
select the part you want to edit and take it to the constraint manager
place a depth constraint on the geometry you want to change and the edit that constraint.

Re: resizing cabinets after geometry cut, help!
Ian,
I think you will need to constrain all of your geometry cuts or they will move when the part is re-sized.
It can get confusing.

Ian,
Did you constrain the dimensions of the geometries in the Constraint Manager?

Re: Line Drawing Editor Crashing
I sometimes think it might be computer specific, but I had the same problem with my previous laptop. I have tried many times to make the crash happen but can never recreate the steps.

Re: Line Drawing Editor Crashing
It is not just Job size. I am working on a batch that is just 61mb this morning. dimensioned 27 cabinets in the Line drawing editor, exited the LDE to check something in batch and when I tried to go back to the LDE eCabs crashed. Luckily, I had saved while in the LDE.

Re: Line Drawing Editor Crashing
Jay, I have never been able to make the auto-dimension feature work either. It is easier to place the dimensions I need rather than editing and making the auto dimensions readable. I have also tried printing to .pdf and opening in BlueBeam and exporting to .dxf and opening in AutoCad. Neither works ...

Re: Line Drawing Editor Crashing
Jay, Clint is probably correct about it being a problem with job size, but it doesn't hurt to make sure you have the latest graphics card drivers. I have intermittent crashes in the Line Drawing Editor that happen in jobs of all sizes. At times I have crashes when trying to change fonts. I open Font...
