Because I used a spline in my design I would doubt it would work on your machine.Mark Taylor wrote:Now the question is...if we took your design to the profile modeler on the machine control - could we machine it with the rotary playback unit?

Losing files
I worked for a good while on making a baluster profile cutting tool. I saved several versions of it (*.x_t) and used them on several occasions during my session of experiments. I got out of eCab and went about my life. Now I've come back to continue with the experimenting and they are gone. This has...

Cool, look what I made
I was wondering if you can do this, and well, you can. I was able to make a custom Spindle Baluster using the parts editor. It's kind of ugly with the wrong proportions, but it was just an experiment to see if it could be done.

Painted face frames.
I am trying to get my face frames the same color as my painted doors. I painted the doors using a colored display cube texture match. Usually to texture match the FF I would just check the match door texture box in the FF construction setting. This did not work this time. I know I can make up new ma...

Out Of Memory Error
OK, just received this error . I'm just wondering if it the famous OOM error. I was trying to save work I had just completed within the software and in the middle of saving this error box pops up. When it returns to the 3D display mode I have duplicate white only cabinets that are about 1 1/2 ...

Center of Axis
I have just made an assembly of 3 cabinets. When I rotate them in the cabinet editor the rotational center of axis is to the far right of the cabinet instead of in the center. When I use the end key to see the back of the cabinet it rotates off the screen. Is there a way to re-center the axis? What ...

Thanks Dan. I'll transfer and install those files ans see what happens. I was looking at the problem closer and it looks like it has a weird twist to it. I would highlight a part and it would tell me that it was the correct sheet stock/board stock and species, yet it was showing the wrong picture fo...

Materials File/folder
I am in the process of transfering my eCabs files from my desktop to my laptop. Which folder are my material filed in. These are the materials I have defined, my sheet stock, my board stock, banding and countertop stock. I would like to transfer them over but can't locate them. I have transfered som...

OK, I get the voltage thing now. It isn't what is required it is what the chips regulator is set at. So as long as the board provides more voltage than the memory needs it can regulate it down to the correct voltage, check. The memory companies are telling you this because they want to let you know ...

Thanks Dan. I went to Crucial.com and they have a little program that you download and it runs a system scan. It will tell you what you have installed, how many open slots you have, and how much memory your system will max out at. It also gives you choices of what memory is compatible with your syst...
