Re: A real Lounge question on site seeing in the East coast
You wouldn't believe how many roads we have around here, Dan... some of them are even paved! They paved our road about two years ago. I kinda miss the dirt road, but it sure is easier on the vehicles. Now, if we could just get that whole indoor plumbing thing worked out. Regarding the car show...

Re: A real Lounge question on site seeing in the East coast
Neville, you're welcome to stop by the shop here (in northeastern Georgia) Can't say there's a lot going on in the immediate vicinity. Well, we do have the Atlanta Dragway a few minutes down the road. They have car shows there a lot, and races every weekend. Got a 2nd place trophy from there for rac...

Re: Printing Labels
You can still print only the barcoded labels, but it's a bit confusing now. When you're at the print dialog, you have a button that says "Select file" or something similar. Click it, and you'll get a file list of the different labels. Look for one that has the word "barcode" in i...

Re: Grouping parts in assemblies
Sorry Jason, I could've sworn I used that method before. My only other suggestion is to incorporate a third cabinet into the assembly, sized so that the doors will be right, with all parts deleted except the four doors. Perhaps you could group those together? I'm not sure, as I'm not at my computer ...

Re: Grouping parts in assemblies
I think the easiest way to do this would be to add two extra doors to one of the cabinets as Display Doors, and omit the doors from the other cabinet.

Re: Radius Casing question
I think that would cost more than $250 to machine, George. So would the moulding.

I'm not near the machine at present Scott, but I will let you know what I find out when I get there.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Radius Casing question
I would think you should be able to get someone to machine that for less than $250... especially if you did the CAD work and just send the file.

Re: Favorites in Super Control ?
It's certainly normal for us, Terry. The Favorites list has never retained anything we put in it. Would be nice if it worked though, at least so we could have an easier way to get to the flycut program.

Re: KCDW to Thermwood
Thanks for that info Ryan. So he will need to purchase the CNC module/output thing for KCDW in order for this to work?

KCDW to Thermwood
I need to cut some parts for a shop who is using KCDW. Can anyone tell me exactly what he and/or I will need to be able to cut a job from KCDW on the router? I remember something about a job-level interface for KCDW, but dunno what the status is on that or what's involved in making it work. So... ho...

Re: all guitar players past and present
I've always thought Lindsey Buckingham never got the attention (as a guitarist) he deserved. Overshadowed by Stevie Nicks I guess.
Hey Dan, I bet you've heard the Knopfler & Atkins album haven't you? Great stuff.

Re: How Do I Use My Falloff (scrap)?
I think Iain's method is probably the best practical one. Trying to coerce eCabinets to nest things into leftover sheets would almost certainly waste a lot of time with very little in material savings. A negative net gain. Here's another method, but it requires you to probably completely change the ...

Re: all guitar players past and present
Dan, you laugh about the Silvertone... my dad has one that my mom bought him not long after they got married 51 years ago. It's actually not a bad guitar. Hollow body (no soundholes though,) two humbucking pickups, each individually controllable. It goes from twangy country to fat smooth blues sound...

Re: Anyone Using the CS 41?
Pat's right, the machine will hold a 49 x 97 sheet. It will make full use of the 49" width, but it cannot make full use of the 97" length... well I supposed you could trick it somehow, but as it is set up it won't nest onto it. That extra inch actually hangs off the spoilboard on the home ...
