Re: Bi-directional Single-Pass Tenon Cuts?
Hey Clint, By "the whole edge being cut on a single pass", are you referring to the Single-Pass Tenon? If so, the beginning of it looks just like the end that is shown in the picture, except it has the arc ramp-in. The entire length of the Single Pass Tenon cut is an arc, due to the machi...

Re: Bi-directional Single-Pass Tenon Cuts?
The addition of the ability to have the preliminary outline cuts as climb, with final pass conventional, was a real lifesaver and cut quality improvement. Would it be possible to implement the same strategy for the Single-Pass Tenon Cuts? As it is, they are done in a Conventional cut direction, and...

Re: What CAD software do you use to create DXF files for Control Nesting?
My reason for asking, as of version 6.12 your are able to designate alternative names for DXF layers. For example, instead of chaincompin, you can name it ccin. That will take you from 11 characters to four, hopefully getting you under the character limit. There is an option within the dialog to all...

Re: Feature Request
We already have the ability to rotate offal sheets. Am wondering if it would be possible to also add the ability to flip/mirror offal sheets in the Add Sheets window? Sometimes we need to flip a sheet over, which renders the saved offal of that sheet useless, and we need to enter it manually. I'll ...

Re: contour management / profile cut
Hi, I'm working on a fishbone patter consisting over 200 lines. Is there a way to either join the lines or select more than one line at a time in profile edge? It takes forever trying to set a tool for each individual line and the program keeps crashing all the time (and I lose all my work of cours...

Also, regardless of the type of video card, make sure the driver from the manufacturer is the latest. Generally Windows will not install the latest, only what the deem the most stable. You need to look to the manufacturer's site for the latest driver.

Re: What CAD software do you use to create DXF files for Control Nesting?
We run a lot of layered DXF files through control nesting. I've been using Bob-Cad V21 for many years and they won't sell me another copy for the new guy. We can't figure out how to get clean layer names out of Fusion 360. V-Carve Pro and BobCad V28 truncate DXF layer names at about 26 characters, ...

Stuart, I'll pass along your issues to the software engineers. To hopefully help in the mean time, you can control the view within Control Nesting in a similar fashion to eCabinets. Once you paste, you can press the home key and it will bring everything into view ( or at least close to, I'm getting ...

Re: Windows update causing ecabs to see new version
Forrest,
Were these larger Windows updates, say from Windows 7 to 10, and then a major change in Windows 10? I can see on our end something changed in your Windows Registry for what we reference for the registration codes. I don't know the exact reason it changed during the update.

If you go to Maintenance, PLC, PLC Screen, what reason does it say for estop? You can press NC Reset to clear the screen to see what errors are persistent in the event something else was in there that has been corrected.

Re: Apply Lighting Effect box
Leo,
There isn't a way to pick where the lighting is in the view prior to the full presentation view. At the top left is a check box for Apply Lighting Effects. If you uncheck that all the shadows seem to be removed. Does that help any?
