pump problems
i know this isn't technically a thermwood issue, but i am having some problems with the pumps for my thermwood router and was wondering if anyone has ever run into the same thing. a couple of times in the last couple of days, i have had both pumps shut down on their own at the same time, needing to ...

1) thanks 2) the veneer does overhang the spoilboard a bit, to put the corner at the (0,0) position. however, if we were to locate the spoilboard to extend to that point, it is no longer within the limits of the surfacing bit, it leaves triangles between each pass at the ends, which then interfere w...

is it possible to... ?
got a few things i was hoping someone could tell me how to do if they are possible: 1) after loading a bunch of jobs in Control Nesting, is it possible to ONLY nest certain material types, or leave out certain material types? we tend to cut all our veneer parts for a week all at once, then go back a...

cutting into adjacent parts
i have the occasional piece where the end is chamfered 45 degrees across the entire width of the piece. when the outline is cut for these pieces, they pretty much always cut into the adjacent pieces on the points. is there any way to fix this without increasing the distance between ALL of the parts?

ecab or control nest problem
i am not sure if this is being caused by the new version of ecab or the new version of the control nesting software, or a combination of the two. in the past, the 1/2 inch rabbet at the back of the gables for the backs was always cut with our 1/2 inch dia bit. as far as i know, i have not changed an...

problems with entering off falls
why do i have to enter off falls in the order in which the program wants to nest them? if i enter the off falls in any other order, the program maintains the order of the material that it wants, as well as the order of the profiles i entered, even if that transfers profiles from one material to anot...

hey, thanks for attacking the problem so quickly. your temporary solution has a problem as well though... i can't even find the off-fall number in the appropriate dialogue. i will try typing it in directly next time and see if that works, but they aren't appearing in the off-fall list when i look th...

i run into that problem all the time. we use dowel construction, so we have lots of holes all over our parts, and the machine is constantly jumping around to drill them in no order that i can figure out, and deffinately not optimizing cut-time. it's just one of those things i shake my head at some t...
