Re: toe kick construction
Glenn, we do toe kicks a little different. Are you cutting these on a router? If so this method is fool proof for assembly. I make a standard base cabinet, with no toe, the height of my toe kick. Then make the face frame out of sheet stock and add partitions for the stretcers. (adding partitions is ...

Re: Help with machining a display panel
Damon, if I am understanding you correctly you do not want the router to outline the panel. If that is the case after you load the file and before you write to cnc open the settings page at the controller and check off outline cuts. Hope this helps.

Re: How to restart in the middle of a program (RP-FR-MF0005)
Dan, the FSH093 has a .030 cut diameter, 2 1/2" over all length, and 1/4" shank. The .030 point really makes the carving pop out of the wood. If your other cutters have a larger cutting diameter the results may not be the same. Have fun!

Re: How to restart in the middle of a program (RP-FR-MF0005)
Hi, Dan. I ran this program, as well as others, and have had to start in the middle of a program too. What I have found is that it is tricky! One thing I try to do is watch when the tool changes occur and make a note as to which line of code that happens on. Also, when you shut the machine down make...

Re: full dados on front edge
Gale, if you use a select sheet stock for your face frames you can get a complete cube with dados. If you need to change the size of your cube you must change the size of the face frame part you use as well. Hope this helps.

Re: display panel placement
Matt, if you associate the display panel to a wall and then view it in the elevation view you should be able to move it the same way you would a cabinet. Hope this helps.

Re: FF cabs and drawerslide hardware holes
Gene, check out these images cab sample 1.jpg sample cab 2.jpg Hopefully you can see where we use double partitions and how we handle double drawers. Your door margins are up to you. I typically use a 2mm margine if the cabinets are to be stained and at least a 3mm margine if they are being painted....

Re: FF cabs and drawerslide hardware holes
Gene, we use all flush partitions. We end up with double partaitons a lot of the time but the labor savings in using the 5mm holes to mount hardware to more than pays for the additionl material. If the job is flush inset we just set the drawer boxes and doors into the cabinet the thickness of the do...

Re: Cabinet Problem!
Terry, if your pocket starts from the center of the cut out, which it should, you can block stop after the bit enters the panel and scroll down in the program a ways and restart cutting. You will get a cut across the panel but if you restart at the right place it won't matter. This will take a bit o...

Automatic oiler problem?
I have had my CS45 for about six months and just recently we got the automatic oiling system to work correctly. Here are some things we found: Tha glass bowl mounted to the Z axis must be perfectly level to properly distribute oil to all of the tubes. Also, we had to play with the manifold that is m...

Re: 5 piece doors, but no raised panel
Mark... I did not expalin very accurately my method. It is not exactly as Damon suggested. I print my cut list then enter each panel in a batch list that I save with the approiate job then send the whole thing to the router. This process opens the posibility of human error and that is what I want mo...

Re: 5 piece doors, but no raised panel
I am glad to see someone else with the same question that I have had since getting my router. I use the manual panel input like Damon suggested. It works but it would be much better and simpler if Thermwood would allow the choice of sheet stock when selecting door panel material. Is this a programmi...

Mid rails on corner cabinets
When I add a mid rail to a corner cabinet I am unable to move it. Is this a glitch or am I missing something?
