With Kerry's help, we are now able to reproduce this problem. It does not appear to be Windows-related. More info to follow later.....

One of our team members has the same Precision 380 computer and will be looking at it. It doesn't appear to be a Windows error message, but rather an eCabinet Systems one. Notice the dialog box has \"ECABINETS\" in the title bar and a very simple error message? I wouldn't load the BIOS upd...

Kerry, Look at your \"Total\" and \"Peak\" Commit Charge on the performance tab of the Windows Task Manager. Both of these numbers should stay below the \"Total\" Physical Memory. If not, then you need to add RAM. Keep in mind, that adding another 2GB will only net you ...

The size of the market for this piece is very, very small. To extend what Glenn touched on, there are $49 DVD players, but I recently paid $250 for mine because it has a burner that supports DVD-R and DVD+R discs. Needless to say, I didn't buy it at Walmart. I think the clientele for a piece like th...

I'm just curious to get a sampling of the members here as to which type of graphics card they are using.

When I first read the subject line, I thought to myself, \"How can Mike know about the big meeting in Jasper, Indiana concerning the Time Zone change?\" I didn't even think immediately about the ball game. You see, there is significant debate going on just north of Thermwood concerning whe...

Re:

Hey Dean, 'splain this RN stuff to me. Is eCabinets installed on the same computer that is used for RN? If not, do the two have to be on a LAN in order to send CNC files from eCabinets to RN? If eCabinets and RN are always on two different computers and are networked, I can easily backup the RN fil...

Andy, First off, if the controller is 286-based, then it's a 91 Series control, which makes it three generations old at this point. Since you are on version 2.068 software, that's the last version available for the 91 Series controller, so there no upgrade for the software. If memory serves, the G92...

Dan,

We don't put the .NET Framework on the Thermwood Control because we don't use it for any of the programs. With the machines, we try to limit the amount of non-used features as it ships from the factory.

So, anyone trying to use your app would definitely need to install the .NET Framework.

nVidia Quadro Graphics Tweak Utility v1.0.5.1

Included here is the Tweak Utility for eCabinet Systems for nVidia Quadro cards. If anyone has an nVidia Quadro-series graphics chip, this utility may boost frames per second video performance in the cabinet editor, room layout, and other 3D areas by two to four times. It appears that as the Quadro ...
