Ben and All, The tolerance should apply to the dado created by the part. So far as I know after much discussion on this subject your initial thoughts were correct, Ben. If this is not happening then it must be a bug. Dave must remember this was changed in V4 along the way for some reason and then th...

Hey Mike, We make quite a lot of mdf doors and other products. Just like anything there is a trick to doing it well and efficiently. Currently Ecabs does not support doing this on a production level, but you can do very unique one off designs which you can charge handsomly for. If you want to do alo...

Ben,

If you have deleted your generic edgebanding from the material data you will have to throw your computer away. Why don't you bring it down here and I'll dispose of it for you.

Nick, I also am having some problems with this recently. Scott Vaal and I are trying to figure this one out. My job did not go bye-bye but it was worthless by the time I was done with it. The part that I love the most was when ecabs created its own material and kept prompting me to use it when it di...

Mike K, I'm not sure when the new style tool gripper came out but I just put on for a tool that runs a long time and would pop out and thru. It doesn't cost much and Im going to replace all of them. They also use a thick rubber band now instead of the foam strip. The new gripper is a 2 piece and all...

Mark, Are the tools poping out loudly and pushing thru the tool holder? Often this is because the tool holders are not being cleaned and have buildup that becomes sticky when ran in the head for a long time. One option that will fix the tool is to purchase the new style plastic clips. They have a fl...

Hi Rob,

What we are refering to is plywood or fibercore. Solid wood can be done with fixturing but is really not the object here. Batching is the key to being cost effective.

Jason, I think Steven is saying when he uses a .25 tool and enters a .25 tool the parts do not cut correctly but when he uses a .248 tool and enters the .248 tool it cuts correctly. I also have an issue with my .25 deep tenons when a smaller than .25 tool cuts the tenon to thickness it does not cut ...

Jody, Nick does this for the first pass then comes back and set his wasteboard the correct thickness for the cleanup pass. This right now is the only way to do double pass on all parts without actually changing your sq. inch settings. However if we have 10 sheets with 6 different size parts we don't...

Skin All

Thermwood,

In control nest settings can we get a simple \"skin all parts\" button?
This would save time and maybe trouble from having to change our square inch setting back.

Thanks,
Forrest

Phil,

18000 rpm, 1000 ipm, 3/8\" comp. The parts should hold but if they don't take 2 passes.
