Greg I did a search for it on Yahoo and came up with lots of posts about it being a \"misbehaving\" font. I didn't read any of them so I don't know what to gist of the posts were. I found it at http://www.free-fonts.com but haven't downloaded it. Ted Have you had any problems with this font?

It is a very nice font, Ted. I just reread my post and it sounded pretty harsh. Sorry, I didn't intend that to be the tone.

That definitely is not Times New Roman Italic. TNR is what you see in the newspaper.

Re:

I though I might respond to some of the thoughts with some of our own. First, we know there are basic features that are not in the software yet. We hope to address many of these in Version 5 and they continue to have the highest priority. Ideas about the future are just that, the future, but we mus...

Well, I glad we didn't completely scare you away  . Even without a Thermwood, eCabinets is a great design tool. I, and many others here, don't own one (can't afford it yet) but we love what we get out of the software. I think I know the TV ad you must have seen for the \"toy\" CNC rou...

You sound as if you use as complex a costing method as I do  . I wish there were a means of importing cost data from my cost accounting system into eCabinets or exporting eCabinets data to my cost accounting system, or both. In my case, I think the export functionality would be a better solutio...

I would like to add something that may assist you in analyzing whether you want to follow this path. Attached is a Word document for SWOT Ananysis. SWOT stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportuniies and Threats. Look over it and start answering the questions as they pertain to your business. Then, ...

Nick That is what you do, sort of, already in eCabinets. Anything more complex than the current time-based method would, in my opinion, be outside the scope of a custom cabinet design program. Given the differing levels of difficulty associated with various construction methods, materials, etc., it ...

Ed Don't read into this that Forrest and Bill have vastly different thoughts on this subject than I do. I agree with them 100% on the huge undertaking it is to setup a new shop, especially one with a CNC router. It is sort of like learning to ride a bicycle yesterday and hopping on a street rocket m...

As you are well aware, prices and costs are highly localized. What is reasonable to a resident of New York or Los Angeles would be laughed at here in Rocky Face GA. You need to find the prevailing prices for different types of cabinetry in your area. Not the big box stuff, custom cabinets. Most memb...

I would think of it more as becoming more vertically integrated in the process of building the home. You may trust your current kitchen contractors but you can't control their quality. In the end, it is your reputation at stake. From what I understand, you can create just about anything you want wit...

A question in return--how much does a kitchen cost to contract it out? If you are paying $15,000 per kitchen, then you are paying $300,000 per year to someone else. In my opinion, you could buy a Thermwood, hire a couple of employees to do the kitchens and come out way ahead. Add to that the savings...

You can zip any file type that can't be directly uploaded. Zip files will always upload unless they are too large, of course.

I agree on the quality of all the designs you posted--they are very nice indeed. You are welcome to post on eCabWorld also. There is an area for tool files as well as images like these.
