We've had 3 batches so far--one with 2 kids and two with 3 kids. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to eat the candy myself.

I think I'll turn off the porch light so I don't have to give away any more of my candy

Next on my wish list is a 1963 Falcon El Ranchero...and I know where one is for $700! The wife won't let me get it though until I get the '34 pickup finished and sell the '27 roadster. I guess she has a point since the garage is full and we have to park in the driveway.

A couple of years ago at the Rod Run in Pigeon Forge TN, I saw an Anglia with a blown and nitrous 502 that made 1200+ HP. The name of the car was, appropriately enough, \"Whiplash\" and it was for sale. On the spec sheet it listed things like displacement, HP, etc and down at the bottom wa...

Great 'Vette but the fire breathing Model A with the Deuce grille is where its at for me  Only one question--why does it need that big nitrous bottle? Of course, that question is somewhat like the wife asking why one might need such a car at all

Nice guitar. I have been watching a series on DIY TV about handmade instruments. They have made several variations of a banjo, including one made from a gourd.

People actually use the for fishing :?: They are works of art! Did you do the decorative painting on the rods? If so, they're great and, if not, well they're still great!

That sounds like fun Greg. I have seen some signs promoting a train festival here (in Dalton GA) this weekend. I'm not sure what it is about but we have a pair of old restored depots, 1 passenger and 1 freight, downtown. One of the has a restaurant and in the entryway is a brass disk in the floor su...

I'll bet that was a wild ride. I downloaded the video so I can edit it a pull out the filp scene. I think the 1st one where the boats are coming toward you is the best view, how about you? As for my medium, it is oils. The paintings are unvarnished and are still somewhat flat. I still have some work...

You bet I need a vacation but the wife says I have to keep working to pay for my toys :D I think she just wants to be sure I can give her a little (yeah, right) \"spending\" money for a Las Vegas conference she's going to in November. When is the race? It looks like it will be a lot of fun...

Bill You sould sort of like a friend of mine that is a neurosurgeon. He is about 6' 8\" and arount 275 lbs. His hands are so large you wonder whether he had ever heard of \"the delicate hands of a brain surgeon\" before he decided to specialize. I agree on the fun of building. That to...

My '34 Ford pickup. It has a Chevy 350 and a TH400 tranny. I am only the 3rd owner of this truck and have been working on it since 1999. You can tell from the dust that I haven't worked on it for a while though. I can't wait to get it finished and use it to deliver the cabinets I design with eCabine...

Here's a closeup of the portrait. I don't know what happened to the texture other than my total lack of photography skills.

I used Photoshop Pro to rotate the picture and got the texture. I went back and used PhotoSuite to rotate it and the texture is gone.

There was supposed to be an attachment of me working on a portrait of a friend's daughter in action at a football game. She's a cheerleader.
