Re: Slide Holes Not Visible

Vince, Your partitions are positioned past the inside edge of your left and right face frame stiles. This is because the 0.0156" (1/64th) scribe that you have applied plus 2 times the material thickness .75" (3/4") is wider than your FF stiles (overhangs the inside edge by .0156"...

Tim,
If you attach the cabinet with your geometry saved in it, I will be glad to investigate.

Re: Control Nesting Update V5.82

Ben, I am not seeing that issue here on our demo machines and I have not yet heard of anyone else experiencing this problem. Are there any other details you can tell me about the problem? About how much too deep was it? I assume you are referring to the wasteboard thickness, right? This value is sto...

Re: More bugs.....

I would also like to be supreme and awesome. Sorry for the delayed response. Josh Rayburn is pretty much correct, although his wording may not be technically the same as what I or our programmers may use. Anyway, the programmer had to manually (through the back door so to speak) remove that bad cou...

Re: More bugs.....

Fabian, I got your job file and went to examine it and got the error "Can not find countertop body." as soon as it loads. I sent it to the programmers for further examination and it indeed has a corrupt countertop segment and it is causing the issues you are seeing. Although the effect is ...

Does a tutorial of this already exists?
Not a specific tutorial, but using KD/RTAs should be covered and the Hardware Hole Editor. I suggest that you start with those sections of the videos and then ask any specific question you may have after that here on the forum.

Re: Hinge plate hole depth

Tom, Hole patterns are stored within the cabinet file so that they are portable (can be moved from PC to PC or even sent to other members/users). So, just changing the hole pattern in the Hardware Hole Editor will not change the pattern being used in the cabinet. After modifying a hole pattern, load...

Re: Door Drawer Overlay

Thanks Scott. I have other questions/problems. Do I carry on here or need to post them separately? They have to do with a face frame staying 2" instead of the 1 1/2 and another on how to (easiest/quickest) way to change joinery and material on cabinets I have already put in a layout, if it is ...

Re: Hardware

Ariane, Here is an example of using the KD/RTA construction and a special hole pattern to achieve holes on the deck for levelers. I will attach the cabinet and the hole pattern I made and used (I had to rename the extension for the pattern file to .txt to attach it here -- just rename it to .ptn aft...

Re: Stopping mid job

How can I stop in the middle of a job then start up where I left off. Say I have a 20 sheet job and only get 12 cut before the end of the day and want to finish the last 8 sheets the next day. How would I do that? Also how do I stop cutting on a sheet and then resume cutting? Tom Peckham Tom, In Co...

Re: Door Drawer Overlay

This is where I have tried it before. I just went through your steps and when the construction area opened my settings were already there. I tried different settings and still nothing happened after it calculated. I am choosing one cabinet then going to the edit cabinet/assembly. Then choosing the ...

Re: Door Drawer Overlay

Arthur, Doors and drawer fronts are what are called "Add" components. This means that you have to be in the specific editor to make certain changes. This is so you can have as many different doors or drawers with as many different settings as needed for a design. So, you will want to take ...

Calvin, Along the same lines as mentioned in Rick Deskins' post, try the following: (you may want to ensure that Windows is set to show hidden files and folders) First try: Close down eCabinet Systems and then open windows explorer and navigate to the folder { C:\ProgramData\Thermwood\eCabinet Syste...
