New feature in Control Nesting PLEASE!!!!
I know I have asked before, but would it be possible to put a delete all button in the add sheets dialog of control nesting? Many times we have multiple sheets (yesterday it was 12 sheets on one job) in control nesting and when we get ready to start the next job we have to select and delete the shee...

Ed, I have to agree with Forrest, setting up a fully functioning cabinet shop is no small proposition. That said, if you do set up a shop I would think that cabinetry and woodwork for 20 or so homes a year is a good start to keeping one busy. As for the router, the minimum table size you need to eff...

I have run some a test pieces and a couple of paying jobs through the carving program, it is impressive. Basically, you load your part on the machine, set your center point for the carving position and go to work. We carved a few items in a mantle for one customer and made a dozen rosettes in Santos...

David, All I have ever been able to do with this type situation is delete all but one part from the file, save it, delete all but a different part, save it under a different name and so on. It is cumbersome, and not very fast but I am usually dealing with a max of 40 - 50 parts. I am curious why you...

Cool cars. :!: Me, I am into Model Railroading. I model in N-scale 1:160 scale) which is actually quite humorous because my hands are HUGE!! The nice thing about having a Thermwood router at my disposal is it had made building the benchwork and sub-road bed easy. No pics to share, I am currently dis...

Forest, I do not know if 4.56 is a contributing factor or not. I can tell you that 4.67 is stable for us. I can e-mail you the update for 4.67 or you can download 4.73 from the website. Obviously I can't vouch for 4.73 as we have not tried it yet. Given what is going on I think I would talk to field...

Forest, I just finished nesting and creating code. 3 Min 24 Sec from the point I pressed load until I was scrolling through the sheets and 6 Min 20 Sec to generate the code. I would call field service and let them know what is going on. It definitely sounds like something may be corrupt. I nested th...

Forest, I am really shocked to hear you say that nesting a job is taking 18 minutes. The longest I have ever waited for a job to nest is 3-4 minutes with most jobs at 10 sheets or less nesting in seconds. The 3-4 minute nest times are jobs that are 25-35 sheets, multiple dados and holes and some fli...

Brian, We are running the 15 HP Busch pump and I use regular Nordboard MDF for the spoil board. I tried some ultra-light and was not impressed (don't recall the manufacturer). Also as for the edge banding, Forest is right it will help to seal the edge but you need to balance the cost of one or two p...
