need hockey puck light or easy way to scale lighting

Searched the site but found nothing that shows how to scale the size of the "Inset light". What I actually need is a hockey puck type LED light for multiple shelf lighting around 2"-3" in diameter and maybe 1" high.

Thanks in advance

Re: Is youbuild.com going to be like production sharing???

Hello Ken and Happy New Year to you and your family, Thank you for the explanation. I for one hope that it does work out and fill that niche and maybe even participate in it. If it makes sense, is profitable for us and we can maintain or surpass our hourly shop rate. It appears, IMHO, that with CFP ...

Re: Is youbuild.com going to be like production sharing???

Just to clarify, HD won't be doing ANYTHING other than selling this product and having it shipped to it's stores. 8) Mike, Curious to know by what source are you able to state the above? Is this a factual statement that can be verified or are you just adding more speculative opinions to the mix? :r...

Re: Is youbuild.com going to be like production sharing???

Hey Gerry, If you reread some earlier posts you will see the overtone starting but my intention is to have Ken/Thermwood step in and clarify it before speculation gets the best of someone. I saw Scott's post about an Ecabinet's update coming out soon and that's great news but that still does not ans...

Re: Is youbuild.com going to be like production sharing???

OOOUUUCH!!!! Boy did I open a Pandora's Box  with this question. Personally I think there should be more constructive communication here on both parts, CNC users/owners and Thermwood. Negative words and uninformed attacks do not help. Jason gave a brief explanation but I think that Ken should ...

Re: Is youbuild.com going to be like production sharing???

CFP is I guess the test site to cut and package the order and then ship to the Home depot they are working with. I was told that CFP has or is getting a CNC and an edge bander. If enough of us show interest maybe Thermwood will throw us a few appetizers in the next build so we can make the product o...

Re: building a podium with an angled top?

Hey Kerry, Did you get any of that snow up there? That's what I was thinking also but hoping that there was a way around it or maybe something I may have missed. Maybe Scott or Larry can shed some light on this. I know this is not the first time some one has wanted to have a construction method, oth...

Re: Is youbuild.com going to be like production sharing???

Thank you Jason for a little clarification. I for one hope that this can incorporate the Youbuild concept with the production sharing aspect. Also for continuity that CFP can supply the plywood to the home depot and we are able to buy it at a discount or have it supplied as part of the cost of the c...

Re: building a podium with an angled top?

Hey Marc,
Thanks for the example. What I need is the have it totally set up to be assembled with blind dado joints or a combo with a rafix type lock joint. This way it could be sent to a location and assembled on the spot.

Thanks,

Re: Is youbuild.com going to be like production sharing???

Hey Forrest,
I thought for sure that you would have been the test site for that area. I hope someone from Thermwood chimes in here to let us know what will be available to us Thermwood CNC owners, if anything. Or will Home Depot and CFP be our partners or competition???

Is youbuild.com going to be like production sharing???

Just found out about this and am wondering if this is going to be open to Thermwood CNC owners like the production sharing? If so, will Home Depot be stocking all of the material choices?
Thank you,

building a podium with an angled top?

Is there a way to build a 16"D X 20"W X 45"H podium with a 24"wide x 20" deep top that has about a 15 degree angle on it that can be completely CNC machined using blind dados?

Thanks,

puzzle joint adjustments?

Can the puzzle joint be modified to make the puzzle part longer and narrower? I have a face frame that is about 45 wide and 25 high. The stiles are 8.56" wide and the rails are 5.5" wide (Per customers drawings). The current settings make it to short for this size parts. I would like to ma...

Re: Finding out how many sheets have been cut

Man where have you guys been??? Sleeping since 2007?? Check out this post I did back then about having a job report generator so we could see what jobs/files were cut that day/week/month or how many sheets or hours did it take to complete a job. http://www.thermwood.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&...
