That limitation no longer exists with the part editor Philip, the docs just need to be updated. Modified parts will stay that way, even if you don't use the CM.

Geeze Peter, get a life!

You HAVE scheduled time in there somewhere to breathe, right?

I'm impressed. Please tell me that all those accomplishments were made possible by building cabinetry...

It's not usually necessary to use the LDE to print dado information. The easiest way I've found to get dado information is to nest the job and then click on the parts with dadoes on them. The measurements are already worked out and shown, all you have to do is click print.

Hi Dave,

From the cabinet editor, click the icon to the right of the add door/drawer fronts icon. It says \"DBX\" above a small picture of a drawer.

From there, highlight the opening and click the Add Drawer Box button on the left side of the screen.

The cabinets also lose their edgebanding data when they lose their wall associations. I can reproduce it using the standard cabinets. I think I sent that one in, not sure. If I could remember the steps I'd post it here so ya'll could double-check me.

I'm building a whizbanger computer right now just for eCabs, and when I get done it's definitely getting XP. The way I figure it, the computer will be obsolete (again) before XP is. Microsoft is officially supporting it till 2009 I think. Mostly though, Vista is a resource-hog of an OS... you'd need...

Wow Dan, I'm glad you're okay!
The good thing about the replacement U joints is that you can grease them. The good thing about near-misses like that is you never repeat them again. Makes you look at just about everything you do in a new way.

Hi Gene, From the room layout, double-click to highlight the cabinet, then right-click and go to Adjust Cabinet Features, Cabinet End. From there you can select the door, which end(s) it goes on, and any insets you may want. Remember, you can use negative insets to make the door bigger than the cabi...

Yeah, great update, thanks Joe! Now I know how everyone felt last year during IWF  I had originally planned on going to the Vegas show, and since I've got every toy I need now EXCEPT the Thermwood router, I was going to spend all the time at the Thermwood booth bugging the guys. I really wante...

Hi Al,

The banding stays visually on the cabinet, and even shows up in the mouseover dialog in the cab editor, but nowhere else.

This is a problem that's been plaguing me for some time now, and I've only just figured out how to reproduce it (unfortunately, after the beta period was up. :( )

I'm the odd man here... I like it this way because now it doesn't recalculate everytime I do something, which has always frustrated me.

Hm, maybe an option in the prefs to have it be one way or the other?
