Control Nesting and labels
Just a note to add to a future version of CN. Purhaps this has been said before, If so, sorry for repeating. Also maybe I just do not know what I am doing?? I want to request that the way labels get printed is looked at. What I mean is that sometimes (more often than I like) I run into problems when...

Re: CN 5.42
Is there an updated manual for 5.42? I have some questions about the new features and I thought I would look at the manual
prior to asking.

Re: eCabinet Systems, the economy, reality and change
Thanks for the update Ken. I am glad that you are thinking in the direction you state. This seems like a good way to go. It is very hard to please everyone who uses the software becouse they all had differant needs for the software. Add on's make a lot of sense. Please put custom reporting on your l...

Re: eCabinet Systems, the economy, reality and change
I have to agree with Kerry on his statements. I do think that e cabinets has something over other machine software. Router Cim is not available without a komo machine. I bet lots of people got their machines becouse of e cabinets. You could say it was free with the machine or you could say it came w...

Re: eCabinet Systems, the economy, reality and change
Like others have said, Thanks for letting us in on your plans for the future. I am from western Canada and for me, I could not justify purchasing hardware from the US. Both for shipping, wait time, and now more so the exchange. I did buy a Thermwood router and that is my reason for using E Cabinets....

Re: ridge
I found the same problem with the 1/2" comp spiral bits I use. What I found is, If you look very close at the bit, it was curved ever so much at the bottom. If I cut into the spoil board by .015", problem solved.

Re: Vacuum Gauge
I have it on the metal fitting that is really the vacuum inlet of the pump. It is not an automotive type gage. Mine is filled with fluid as well but I am not sure what that does. It just taps into the vacuum line that runs to the router. You can get these gages from the pump manufactuer. You will ne...

Re: Vacuum Gauge
I have a vacuum gage installed on the output of the pump. I rely on it alot to see what is going on. I find with my pump that if it has been running for quite some time, the vacuum is better so I often monitor that gage when small parts are on the nest such as drawer parts etc. If the vacuum gage is...

New release
Just wondering if anyone knows if and when a new release maybe coming out.
There was talk some time ago about being able to take drawer parts to an
editor in a future release and my hopes are up for this coming soon.

Re: Finishing a cabinet
I try as much as possible to do the finish prior to assembly. I find that then I can lay my parts flat, get an even coat and also this makes sanding between coats simpler. I used to finish after the cabinets were assembled but I found I was often cleaning dry fall and some stains are a pain if you o...

Flip Op
I have been avoiding flip operations but I just finished a project that I should have used the flip operation. If it worked, I would have saved lots of time. Having never done one on the machine, I do not know how it works. I understand that when a part needs a flip operation, a bar code would print...

Re: Announcing THM Desktop Edition Software
I must say that I am a little on the fence about this one. I like the idea but one of the big things I like about doing this at the control is the ability to use off cuts via the bar code scan. Now, I think I would get a little lazy, do all the work from a comfortable chair and not use the off cuts ...

Re: Blind Corner Cabinet
I see what you mean. I must first say that this is a great idea for making a blind corner cabinet.
I have read several differant ways but I like this the best.
I have tried all I can think of to change this with no luck.
I too am looking forward to the answer.

Re: Help- Problem with CS45
Problem solved. It turns out that the acceleration for that axis was a bit high and it would over shoot its mark on a short distance such as the tool change. Andrew from CNC automation figued this out very late last night and sent me a replacment file and the machine seems to work better than ever. ...
