Same problem here, although in my case the model always stays put exactly where Control Nesting originally nested it. If I move or rotate the part, the model stays behind, everything else moves.

We also use a flycutter type tool for pocketing on mdf shaker style doors, and we were able to lengthen the tool's ramp-in length by changing the rout/dado length setting Below are our tooling settings for the pocketing tool.
