One reason is the support, this forum in particular. I have not encountered another software package where the developers provide almost instantaneous responses to questions. \"Post the file and we'll have a look at it\" is a common response. Who else does that? Another reason is the track...

GE monogram warming drawer ZKD910 has RO of 25.5\". Also says to allow for 5/8\" over lap on all sides, probably for the trim. I think these openings are minimums, so if there is a 3/8\" difference, use the larger of the two and the trim will cover the 3/16\" on each side. I just...

Wall Editor

When drawing walls the Dimension/Angle method doesn't work. I can enter the values but nothing happens when I hit enter. The x/y method works fine for both absolute and incremental. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Glenn

On the main room layout screen, right click and select Texture options, then wall/floor, then change texture. A little texture box appears in the top left corner. Select you texture. Then press control and a paintbrush appears. Click on the wall you want to paint. Wa La. (Hopefully)

When you are in the wall editor, make sure when you select the line tool that it becomes highlighted. Also check your snaps - I find \"snap to grid\" and/or \"snap to object\" helps to insure that my walls are continuous After that it works about as easy as Sketchup.

Ken, Wow! Thanks for the reply. Coming from a software development background in my previous life, I am in awe of what you and your team have accomplished and your plans for the future. I'm not sure if its still in vogue, but have you ever thought of applying for the national Baldridge Quality award...

Features and dates for Version 6?

Can we get a peek at what's planned for version 6? I assume from history that its well on its way.

Thanks.

You can get wireframe views of just about anything by selecting from the cabinet editor or the custom room layout and entering the line drawing editor. You can rotate, zoom, cut, and paste to get the view you want, then select the nodes that you want measurements for. You can have multiple pages and...

Seems the main question is how many users do their designs in real time in front of customers, with the objective of closing the deal in one sitting. I do kitchens and can't imagine doing that. But in doing a quick search it seems thats standard practice in the closet segment, with other packages to...

Thanks AL,

I rebooted and it went away. Its an ATI Radeon 9600 128mb card. I was doing some experimentation (spinning and zooming the display) just before the circles appeared, so something must have got cranky.

I've had my dell outlet M90 for about a month. Circles in Cab Display?

Can anyone tell me what's up with this cabinet? Appears to have circles around each node.

Thanks,

Glenn

Re:

I have been following all this talk about graphics cards over the last couple of years and have yet to try a Quadro. I am a little leary of shelling out over 20,000.00 for a card . I got a whole new Dell Outlet M90 top of the line laptop with Quadro FX2500 card for two grand. I think the card alone...
