We have the same problem but are more novice than you. Where do I search to delete the mclock files? In Thermwood sdoftware? In whole computer? Somewhere else? I tried this back in Oct '05 when it was also on this forum but was unsuccessful at accomplishing the task. I assume I go to wordpad, open t...

Hasn't happened yet...
If we are cutting a program in Rolling Nest and have 50 sheets total and somewhere in the middle of it a tool breaks or whatever, can we repair, replace etc and resume from that point without having to go back and X-out parts we already have and renest whole job? Most of our nests are big and we got...

Bill, Thermwood does still sell wasteboards direct. We tried using regular grade MDF for wasteboards and have since gone back to Thermwood stuff. Commercial stuff curved up and and warped and created all kinds of wierd situations. For a few bucks more, get the right stuff and it pays. They ship it c...

We print the sheets identifying the parts and only print the flip operation stickers. We don't use the labels other than to get teh barcode off them. We use a #3 pencil to ID the parts on the table and write them in a non conspicuous place. sand off easily if wqe need them to. Plus no adhesive resid...

Scanned Images
Do any of you have experience in scanning in images of logos or such and then machining them? I have two projects we'd love to add some scanned image \"carving\" to but not sure how to do it. We have ECabinets and MasterCam. I posted here becasue I am sure the software guys would say it is...

Update.... Based on all your responses and your sage advice, we re-evaluated the whole operation we were using to cut these parts. We had always used comp bits because we always used a comp bit. Now we switched to an upcut bit for drilling and interpolating the holes and actually even now use a stra...

Thank you
Thank you for the replies. We had considered much of these but a real privilege to have the ability to get input from others. I still can't resolve why only 3 holes out of 256 and why now versus no problem before.......It can't be the reverse rotation I don't suspect as it should have done it more? ...

Help please
Here's a new one for us and I am almost reluctant to admit this happened but I can't figure out why it did so am needing help. We were making parts like we have done before and were interpolating holes that are .415 and .300 in diameter using a .250\" comp bit in .75\" MDF. What happened w...

Nick, We've had our CS40 running since March. We run ECabinets and MasterCam. We would echo the above comments and feel that we made the right choice. We spent about 9 months trying to talk ourselves into a CNC Router and looking at different ones. I have a file full of literature on different brand...

Paul, We own a router but we would suggest that we would be better served to supply your request using our custom molders. We have no problem producing this shape and I believe we have a local source for the wood. (I have not checked their inventory yet) We could fabricate this for you and so you kn...

Hinge cup holes
Bill, You asked if anyone is successfully doing the cup hinge holes in ECabinets. Yes, we have ALTHOUGH it took a long time to get it right. You must use hardware hole editor, associating it with the proper hinge and once you create it and do it, do NOT edit it after you have created a cabinet. The ...
