Re: How Do I Use My Falloff (scrap)?
Rick,
Can you suggest any software for this? This sounds cool.
Have a great weekend if I don't talk to you before then end of it.

Re: How Do I Use My Falloff (scrap)?
I agree, trying to get eCabinets to use falloff is not an easy task. I ended up just nesting based on full sheets. I then gave it to my builder and said, "here. You figure it out." He laughed at me, took the paperwork and walked away. A few hours later, I now have all the parts cut of from...

Re: How Do I Use My Falloff (scrap)?
Okay guys, what I'm getting from you is that you CAN do it in eCabinets , but it might not be a "normal" way for the software to think. Thus far I have entered the new sheets of material, but now I need to know how to tell eCabinets that I want it to use those pieces. Can you explain the p...

Re: How Do I Use My Falloff (scrap)?
Okay great, if I create a few pieces in the Materials list that fit the sizes that I have and would like to use, how does eCabinets know to use those pieces on my next job?
Thx.

How Do I Use My Falloff (scrap)?
Hello everyone, I have a bunch of scrap from the previous jobs. There is one full sheet of 3/4" walnut + 1 sheet that measures 20"x96" + 2 sheets at 21 3/4" x96". I'd like to enter that in somehow and tell the program to nest using those pieces. Is there a way to do this? Th...

Re: Edge Bandets!
Kerry, I know I thought about that and I checked and it didn't have any EB. I also installed the cabinet and checked and there was NO EB. However, later on in the course of building the room, they snuck in there. I have not noticed when it does it, but at some point they find their way in, hence, Ed...

Re: Edge Bandets!
Put here on. I'll tell her how great you are. Man I was pulling my hair out and I don't have much left!! I'm not onto new problems like, why do my cabinets suddenly get edge banding stuck into them? I just ran another cut list and there they are again. just one band on three different cabine...

Re: Edge Bandets!
Even when I set it as default, nothing changes. I really mean it, it wont take ANY other door other than a slab door (that has edge banding).

Re: Edge Bandets!
You are absolutely right! I have a slab door or drawer in there. For some reason, I cannot get it to take any other type of door or drawer front. I tried a bunch of different ones. I go to drawer/door selection, pick the door that I want, select Alternate build and then click on Close. No matter wha...

Edge Bandets!
Hi again, The darn Edge Bandits have struck again! Pretty much every single project I have worked on has found Edge Banding sneak into it, even though I never click that button (except to remove it after it snuck in!). But that's another story. This time I am having a problem with edge banding findi...

Re: I need to cut some corners on this job (play on words)
Dan,
Thanks. I'm getting closer.
I got the left side depth set about where I want it, but it cuts the angle all the way to the far right back corner. I need it to stop about half the distance across the back of the cabinet.
The photo shows it.
Thanks for the help!!

I need to cut some corners on this job (play on words)
Hello everyone, I need to cut some corners on this job and I was hoping someone could help me pull this one off. Take a look at the attached jpeg. You will see an upper in the left corner of a room. It projects into the wall because of the wall angle. I need to cut the cabinet so that it follows the...
