Re: Corner cabinet installation
As far as your door goes my KV rep stopped by the other day and showed me a "Flip up and slide in" mechanism for solid doors. Look up the 8040 thru 8045 series and the 8050 EZ Hinged Door Slide.

Re: Blind corner suggestions?
In that case I would go with the 45 deg angle board and join them. Too bad all that space cannot be used.

Re: Blind corner suggestions?
I make my cabinets about 24 inches wider then use a 3 or 4 inch stile on the corner and apply a inset of 23 inches. This makes a cabinet that goes all the way into the corner, utilizing the corner space. I make sure to use wider stiles in the corners to allow for hardware on the drawers to not inter...

Re: I need help with this assembly
The job I used it on was fairly small. I suppose I could reduce the size of the file and still have it work. If you have any type of picture editing software you can reduce the size of the image there. I would try to reduce the size down to about 50KB and see how that work.

Re: I need help with this assembly
I don't see why you couldn't reduce the size of your scan. I think you only need a small section and ecabinets will tile the image to cover the cabinet parts. I took a photo of a brick wall and saved it as a texture, it is a 1 meg file and probably could be a lot smaller. Some of the wood grain imag...

A couple of tables
Had a client request these two tables to go in there home office. They are having the finisher that finished the rest of the cabinetry finish these tables. It was a nice change of pace to not build a bunch of boxes. http://jlcustomcabinets.com/assets/images/DSCF0028_640x480.JPG http://jlcustomcabine...

Re: Off topic. Doors on wide TV cabinet
To get the doors to show open in the presentation, you have to delete the doors in the cabinet editor then in the layout room add new display doors properly sized, rotated and placed. It would be wise to "save as" another job name so as to keep the original job intact.

Re: Entertainment Center
Yes Joe I used a center stile and added double doors. I set a 1/8 or 1/4 inset on the center stile so I could attach it to the door. This made the door gap between the sets of doors equal to the drawer gaps on the lower section.

Writing a proposal
So as not to hijack Kerry's Proposal Writer thread, I started this one. Kerry I like the look of your proposal you posted, but like Neville said, are you concerned your customers will take your dimensioned drawings to the other guy and get him to bid on your hard work. I provide a rendering with my ...
