My newer laptop doesn't do it so I'm sure a new desktop would fix it but its still a very capable setup so kinda hard to justify replacing at this point. I think it's graphics card related but maybe something Thermwood can look at and adjust.

Easiest and cheapest thing is buying Desktop Control Nesting. It'll free up your controller for running code and use an office computer that is usually more robust especially if you have a 20 year old controller like mine.

Your hard drive might be full. You could try removing all older files and then doing a cleanup and defrag.

Larger collars are only practical if you have a few small parts say in a scrap material. If you have multiple sheets then it can greatly reduce the yield.
