Re: Modifying Conestoga Door/Drawer Profiles
Sorry Joe. Those files are a different format. Not lines and arcs that Shape Manager uses.

Re: Error Messages
I don't think making a blank file will help. You should try to run the update again and select repair. If you are running on Vista make sure you right click the update and select run as administrator.

Re: Control nesting new release
Hi Will. Yes we plan to support this need in a future release. A time has not be set yet for completion.
Neville, I was referring to leftover areas in pockets where a smaller tool will be called to do the cleanup.

Re: Pocket tool
Dados (both Blind and Full) are not ran through the pocketing routine. They are simply rectangle cuts. This is why a tool has to be in a certain range. It is based on the width of the dado. Pockets, however, use the diameter set in settings and is a fixed value. With eCabinets pockets are created by...

Re: Control nesting new release
Hi Neville. The next "big thing" coming in Control Nesting will be the ability to handle leftover and use multiple tools for pocketing. The development is still in it's early stages so the release is still a ways off. Thank you for your patience!

Re: CabinetVision Conversion
Hi Rob. Control Nesting accepts mdb files from CabinetVision. The only requirement is that the CabinetVision user has the module to create this file. I suggest you have them contact Planit if they are not sure whether or not they have this ability. The mdb from CabinetVision works the same as a twd ...

Re: eCabinet Systems V6
While splitting the letters that cause islands will give you the graphical look correctly, it will not machine correctly at this time. You will need to make your split pieces cut at a small difference in depth like 0.03mm. Hopefully this amount will not cause you undesired results. The current versi...

Re: CN Feature Request- One DXF Multiple parts
We will make a note to consider this feature for a future version. The best solution would be to have the layers provide both the part name information as well as material information. As far as a timeline goes I can't comment other than it will take a while. Just a thought... Setting layers in the ...

Re: CN Chain vs. Outline feed speeds.
We'll get this fixed for the next version. You are correct, Max Feed Size should only get applied when the cut is through for chain operations the same as outline operations. Thanks for the find!

Re: One Part, More than one Edgebanding, Slab Doors too
Ok. We'll get that fixed as well. Just a note. The Slab Door and Face Frame information will need to be addressed in eCabinet Systems. Having the multiple names listed can be done in a Control Nesting update. Thanks again for the input!
