Re: Speed of V6 varies with use?

I dont know if something changed in V6b2 but I now get the following message after making a change in Const. Sett. Cant seem to tell if the timing is different, or Win 7 percieves eCabs as stopped. Sometimes I think it is. IF ignored eCabs goes on as usual. Message dissappears eCabs Screen Saver.PNG

Re: Drawer Box Designer Issues

I had a little more time to spend on this. More info: It seems this is a product of placing PE cuts near or on Dados. If butt joinery is global selected this issue dissappears. When it does happen, it only appears to happen to the upper constraints in CM view. Lower ones work fine. When closing the ...

Re: Drawer Box Designer Issues

Let me add that:
When window with green draw box was moved to main screen, drawer rendering dissappeared

clecked on it a few times and shook it with the mouse and draw box reappeared, saved file
when DBE "CLOSE" button is selected, it closed eCabs

Re: V6b2 Construction Settings

Scott... In V5.2, virtually all of my base cabs has this "web Top" some have had the blind dado joinery for the partition. None have had the PE cuts to the partition shown in another post. None have shown this error. It may be a product of changing the Dado front stops last or the combinat...

V6b2 Construction Settings

Open the attached cabinet derived from V6 std base framed. The top dado settings are set to 1 1/2" on the R & L fronts, but they show as 1". If set at 2" all seems fine. When the top is taken into the PE for a closer look it returns a "funky" little geometric quirk betwe...

Re: Terrible problem with Hardware data base

Kerry...
Virtually all my setting etc were carried forward, but like you I lost the hardware. Unlike you, I had only a small number inV6 b1 and will go forward. Hopefully will be fixed before next version. I was luck to get the last of my V5.2 cabinets cut yesterday. Forward with V6!

V6b2 Part Editor

Part Editor cuts are returned erroneous when crossing tenon dados. Steps to repeat: From CE, open std base framed Const set. >>GLobal set joinery to blind dado >> Uncheck Face frames CE main Part/shelf editor>> remove adj shelf > add fixed shelf rear setback 16, set opening hgt to 5 > add partition ...

V6b2 Draw Box Designer

I have noticed that when in the Draw Box Designer, the 1st mouse click selects nothing, second also nothing, third works. It takes a half second delay between clicks or double click is interpreted. Double click works very well on 1st try. This, at least on this computer, is very exaggerated by follo...

Re: Upper Cabinet Deck

Georgi... We do this fairly often when using materials with a different finish on each side. Some parts need to be cut with Outside finish up and some with outside finish down. (before flipOps) Sides can be cut OS fin down while tops and deck usually need to be cut with the OS fin up. It just takes ...

Re: Drawer Box Pains... Suggestion

Kerry, Gary... IF I take Joe's suggestion as I think he wrote it, and selected outsource for the draw boxes, wouldnt the draw box sizes show up just fine in the Buy List? I interpreted his suggestion as looking for an option to eliminate the rendering and machining calculations that go along with dr...

Re: Drawer Box Pains... Suggestion

Joe... Agree on both.. 8) I do exactly what you said. Make a draw box of Solid Maple NOCUT. The first even had the dovetails included, but Kerry set me straight on that. I do use it as a "build in house" with proper dado depths to return accurate front, back, sides and bottom sizes to the ...
