Re:

Justin, Thanks for replying...I dont think there is something wrong with the job. I think is just me that is confused. When talking about price per board feet, is it the 'width' of the board that is one foot? With the length and thickness taken as what? If I know this then I can calculate a price a...

Re: So many \"VIEWS\", so little help

I thought this was supposed to be a help each other out forum. So far I only see a couple of guys actually taking the time to answer questions. They are Dan Epps and and Kerry Fullerton, hats off to you two!!! I see questions or problems posted with 30 or more "views" listed but either 1 ...

Re:

I figured that. When you are pricing individual cabinets that really boosts the price up quite a bit. The pricing on average will work pretty good when you have multiple cabinets spanning many sheets of ply. But when it comes to little jobs looks like it just better to use the design, nest, and cut...

Okay Leo -- If I understand you right ... you are starting with an over sized rectangle and cutting square holes in it .. then cutting off the corners and rotating the piece when you insert it to the cabinet? Thanks for taking the time to do this. I have been trying for the last 2 days.

Thanks all for your responses. Mike thanks, but George you hit the nail on the head, this is exactly what I want. I tried using display cubes to do it but couldn't place and trim them. How would you do what you showed.

Wine rack Cabinet

I hope someone can steer me in the right direction on how to add diagonal strips to the lower part (open) of this cabinet to create a wine rack. I have been trying for a couple of hours now and can't seem to find how. TIA.

Re: custom layout

When I am in custom layout and try to place a designed cube into an entertainment center I cannot get it to the right height to fit into the faceframe. As a matter of fact it is half below the floor. I've done it in the past but can't seem to figure it out right now. What am I doing wrong? Highlite...

A BIG Thank You -- Calmark Cabinets --

I would just like to say a big thank you to Calmark cabinets in Calgary AB Canada. I just completed a job for a friend that had to be installed in Invermere BC. Calmark machined all the cabinets (35) complete with drawers (40) and everything fit like a glove. 35 sheets of melamine was used. Rob was ...

while on the subject... I cannot for the life of me figure out how to make the front toe be in front of the sleepers. I've fiddled around with insets and flushes and I'm stumped. I basically want what the jpeg in Wally's post shows. Should be simple, but...der...i guess i'm simpler. Brian -- Here i...

Joe -- All you have to do is create a toe kick from a cabinet and then save it as a cabinet. Then when you want to use it resizing is very easy. Here is one of mine.

Take the counter top into the part editor and you can do anything you want with it. There is a chamfer tool as well as a circle tool along with most everything else.
