You can also rotate the page from portrait to landscape and vice versa from the "file" "print setup" menu. I have mine set on landscape all the time.

I have an angled upper corner cabinet with two doors, upper and lower, the upper door maintains it's size with the proper overlays but the lower door does not. When I add the door it correctly sizes it but when I go to the main area from the door area the overlays vanish and the door resizes itself....

I think edge profiling an cut piece is something the program can not do. Not 100% sure though.

I believe you need to have some additional software that can convert the files to stl. I'm not sure what software of were to get it either. Maybe to a google search for "dwg to stl" and see what hits you come up with.

Here is the cabinet. A 32 in sink fit in the cabinet.
