Just out of curiosity how long did it take to nest it?

I have found the nesting to be pretty quick over 20-30 sheets.

Hi Bill, We are cuttig melamine over particleboard and and colour laminated MDF. The rough edges is what we are trying to get rid of, we have only been able to get 30 odd sheets before chipping occurs. This tool is holding up a bit better but I will wait till we get a few more sheets through on it t...

Please let me stress one point, this cutter is a tripple flute with upshear, at this speed we have to monitor vacumn hold down closer than we normally do, any degredation in spoilboard leading to loss of suction means smaller parts WILL MOVE!!!! BUT when taken into account even recutting the odd par...

Hi Thom, Same one as we have the 60-126MW, nice tools. On MDF I just turn the speed down to 70-75% seems to work well, I did notice that yesterday the guy using the machine left it at 100% but I can't be sure he cut the MDF with it. So our standard speed is 26M per min and 16,000RPM for particleboar...

We have been having the same problem with our bits. Started with feed at 12M per Min and 13,000 rpm, got about 30 odd sheets to a bit. Changed bit suppliers and ran into a variety of different speeds. At present we are using an Onsrud tripple flute at 26M per Min and 16,000 rpm. Getting nice clean c...

Hi Bill, Thanks for the advice, I'll look at our settings and see what I can do, I know we don't use groups so that may be an issue. I have seen the post re burning of the spoilboard, we are not going all the way through the material and out tool has an upshear on it. Thats's the strange thing, you ...

OK yes I agree with what you say...........but it doesn't answer my question, how do I prevent the 10mm diameter tool from doing plunge holes and stick to only doing outline operations. The Blumotion hole example was offered to better describe my problem. Our machine has a number of these operations...

Restricting a tool to only do outline operations

How do I make my 10mm (3/8') bit only perform outline operations and not be used for plunging 10mm holes for fittings. I will use another bit to perform the plunge operations. For example I need to do 4 x 10mm holes 13mm deep on the bases of drawers for the fitment of Blumotion hardware. What is hap...

 gotta love google. But I must comment, nice to see that for a change it's the older members of society that are embracing new technology, warts and all as it may be, and producing some stunning work. (For those visiting this board for the first time do a search on \"Kerry\" for exam...
