Re: Tile Shower Pan

Hey Gary, If you you want to try something cheaper... Ez-board from Customs Building products is excellent. This has made all of my customers and builders very happy. It cuts like a drywall. However, remember that you still need to put liner under the concrete to avoid leakage. If you need more info...

Re: Creating a new door

Dan,
Thanks for the answer.
The only problem that I have with that is... If I have 20 doors, I will have to do one by one???

Creating a new door

Hello everyone,

Is there a way that I can create a door and have applied molding to it. I am trying to get a door with rope molding around the door.
Can anyone give a suggestion.

Thanks!

Re: how can you protect your drawing

Kerry, Thanks for your reply. I hope you got that job, the design is awesome. I am glad you said that, because I spend quite a bit of my time waiting on ecabs. Just today, it crashed about 5 times in the same job. Let me take that back... I do not know if crashed or if I didn't have patience. I wait...

Molding doesn't rotate correctly

I am finishing up my drawing. I am trying to install a crown molding in the overhead area. These are my steps... select item to install> install item> molding> conestoga> pick my crown molding that I want> pick miters 0 and length 120" . There it is. A beautiful molding in the middle of my room...

Re: how can you protect your drawing

Hey guys, What I have learned in this business is very simple. There are many types of customers, you just have to have the feel for them. Some people, if you charge for the drawings, they will never more come back. A lot of them, specially now, they are trying to do a lot with a little money. Then,...

Re: Moving cabinets

I will try that Michael.

Now, I will have to change back to align back once I am done... right?

What do you think that is conflicting in my drawing?

Re: Moving cabinets

Nemanja,
I appreciated your reply. However, I have done that. Even then, when I place the cabinet beside the blind corner, there is a little gap there. Then, again, I fix my object move increment, hold sift down and click my arrow. And that is what happens... unfortunately.
Any other ideas???

Thanks!

Moving cabinets

I am having problems when I try to move a cabinet a little bit closer or further from the other. For example, I had a blind corner, when I place my other cabinet, there is a 2" gap between them. I adjust my move increment to 1/2". But when I try to move one of them, it goes everywhere but ...

New kitchen layout

Alright... I am having a time. I am creating a new kitchen layout and I am building new style cabinet. So, every time that I open a new cabinet to edit it, I have to set everything up again. In other words, I have to set up my door default again, drawer, drawer box, etc. I know I can save the door i...

Re: Inventory Control

Gary, Awesome, I see you have been using that for 9 yrs. I think that is great if you can keep track of it. I personally like to keep everything under a tight tab. I don't let anything slide by, not ever the items that we use for ourselves. But I have people watching after it; and I think that is th...

Re: Inventory Control

Rick, I have been a warehouse manager for 3 years now. In my experience with inventory control software bought at the store, the system is very general. For what you are trying to do, if you don't develop something don't even try. It is definitely a task to keep everything right in the system. In th...

Re: I'm upset

Kerry, I love your reply. I think everyone of us should have this same attitude, and never taking for granite the gift from Thermwood. I don't care if nothing works in the program... it is free, if we don't like it, we don't have to use it, go out and buy one. Yes, all the programmers have been very...
