Re: Edgebanding is not shown in cutlist exported to Excel

Greg I get the same thing This must be a bug. You can create a user form with a list box that would populate text boxes and/or combo boxes that would allow you to insert the banding specs. I will play around with one and see if I can get it to work (when I get a chance)

Re: wont nest "back panel"

Another way is to take a single cabinet and extend its back For example 36 inches on the right the add your second cabinet to get the locations of the pockets then repeat the steps posted to create and constrain the pockets.Delete the second cabinet and save the cabinet with the extended back. This ...

Re: wont nest "back panel"

Remove the backs from the two cabinets Then Load a 3rd cabinet that has every thing except for the back removed You can then resize this back to the Proper width and height then align the back to the cabinets using the align tool. Extend the cabinets ends and decks as needed to set into the dadoes i...

Re: please help

By The screen shots It looks like you do not have the material MDF-12 in tool group1.Try adding the material into Group1 and make sure that you have the cutter that will cut the dado set to Rout / Dado.

Re: Help with angled cabinet, please

Hi Eddie as you have probably found out by now the only way to make this cabinet is with the part editor, constraints, display panels and/or other parts robbed from another cabinet. Then save as an assembly.

Re: Not Nesting Right

Thom You have to take the cabinet into door editor and right click then in construction settings change the slab grain direction angle from 0 to 90.Remove the door and then add it back.

Re: The lock icon

Lets say that you have a library set up with cabinets like a base with 1 opening and 1 door, a Base with 1 opening and 2 doors, a Base 2 opening with 1 door each opening etc. You can lock the widths of these cabinets so that for example if you do not wish to have a cabinet with a door over 20 inches...

Re: Software Request

Use the thickness of a material as a numeric variable. This variable would then always be used by the deck inset. For example, assume a 2" high bottom rail. For deck inset, the value would be 2 - MT, where MT equals material thickness. Now, if you get a batch of material that is thinner or thic...

Re: Software Request

If you are cutting the parts in part editor then I don’t think you can add edge banding to the cuts themselves but you can allow for the thickness of the edgbanding in the cuts.

Re: Software Request

Hi Eddie If you are using the cultist feature in eCabinets then there is a section at the bottom of the cut list reports to enter notes. As far as the batch reports the only notes you can enter are for example if you click on the blue text in the batch item name field then you can type what ever you...

Re: Multiple Paneled Doors?

No you can not create a 5 piece door with mutable pannels. But you can use a display door and draw the geometry in part editor then apply a raised panel profile to the geometry.
