Re: Door Materials
I just restarted my computer and still no luck. I'm still in Beta 1, and will try Beta 2, though I don't think that's the issue. Weird.

Re: Door Materials
Josh,
I've tried it both ways now a number or time now, and neither has worked. When I have a chance, I'll reboot and see if that helps any.

Re: 'the right click option in the main cabinet editor for "construction" which allows you to change the joinery on a part without going into the editor. (ex. a fixed shelf)' Does this normally work? I just tried it on a fixed shelf and an adjustable shelf, and the entered changes didn't t...

Re: Angled Ends
Kerry, thanks very much for the help. How were you able to angle the ends on the cabinets you've shown? As a last resort, I realized I could have the corner cabinet 'spread' onto the adjacent wall, and handle all the angles with that one cabinet. The cabinet to the left and right could just be stand...

Angled Ends
I need to create several cabinets with ends that are angled at 22.5 degrees (See attached sketch showing plan view of cabinets) The cabinets do not have backs, or any stretchers, but will be just be made up of Sides, Top, Fixed Shelf, and Deck, all with RTA assembly. Is there a way to do this in Eca...

Re: Room Layout with measurements
It is a shame that the software doesn't do auto-dimensioning. It really does limit what is otherwise a very powerful program, and I'm not clear on why it's made it this far without it With any volume of work that requires dimensioned drawings it's not to feasible to consider manually adding these in...

Re: Disappearing PE Cut
Thanks Kerry. This is a cabinet that I may be using fairly often, so I may need to get creative, and make it out of individual parts that I pull into the batch list when needed...

Disappearing PE Cut
On the attached file, the fillet that I've added to the inside corner of the top disappears when the cabinet regenerates.
Is there a way to avoid this?
Thanks.

Re: Is youbuild.com going to be like production sharing???
I too am at a crossroads with the software. While it's good in many ways, it has some serious shortfalls, and I'm finding I'm putting money elsewhere to compensate for these. While Thermwood owes me nothing, I do have a quite a bit of time invested in the software, and would surely benefit from know...

Re: Drawer Front hole patter
Not so? I had thought the next release (not the 'time patch' due out shortly) would accommodate drilling drawer fronts for metal drawer systems. I gave up trying to draw these holes manually, and bought an Ecopress about a year ago to do the drilling. I'm feeling about the level of frustration towar...

Re: Drawer Front hole patter
Wayne,
I'm fairly sure you'll need to do thst manually, with the part editor and constraint manager. I believe the option to do it with the hardware hole editor will be part of the next release?

Hi Bill, good to hear from you, Here's a link to thread on the post about notching for the hanging rail and bracket: http://www.thermwood.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=12208&p=64990&hilit=suspension#p64990 To drill the holes for the closet rod cups, I'd modify an RTA hole pattern to jus...
