Re: Why is there a time limit
This has been covered here before, but I'm too lazy to dig up any posts on it. In a nutshell, it has to do (I believe) with the licensing agreement between Thermwood and the companies whose engines eCabs is based on.

Re: Surgery successful
Trust me, I'm thoroughly milking...I mean taking advantage of...I mean...well, you know, my wife is waiting on me hand and foot. :joker: Believe it or not Mike, I don't have any post-op PT--just good old-fashioned rest (and babying by the wife  ). Great news! Work on that "Oh I'm ...

Re: Surgery successful
Dan, Great to hear your surgery went well. Take everyone's advice here and REST (while you can). And do what they tell you to do in Physical Therapy! I just got done with 8 weeks PT/recovery from microfracture surgery on my left knee. 4 weeks on crutches, followed by 4 weeks of limited use. I always...

Re: eCabinet Software Poll
I'm one of the 9 who voted "uses nothing but eCabs". Let me predicate the explanation of my process by saying cabs are not my only business, and I'm not turning out an estimate a day, sometimes not even an estimate per week. I've built a coupla different folders within my library that have...

Re: Attaching Face Frames
I use pocket holes wherever I can because it's accurate/quick. Unfortunately with a fixed shelf or a finished end (without a separate end panel) it's not possible. In those cases I use biscuits. I try to run all my carcass parts through the shaper at one time with a 5/32" slot cutting bit, then...

Re: Italian Renaissance Credenza
Regarding the TV lift, the only thing I can see customers objecting to is that you must press & hold the button for the entire length that you wish the lift to travel. Otherwise, it's a solid lift, quiet, easy to install, and a friend of mine in the A/V business thinks it's a steal!

Re: how version 5.2 build 1 is doing?
Mike What problems are you having with partitions and resizing? Leo Could you attach the job you refer to in problem 3? Thanks I'd rather not cry 'wolf', without time to reproduce the error. But since you asked..... Blind dado construction, resize the cabinet, partitions either ended up too long or...

What do you guys do about the pocket holes showing on uppers. I have had complaints about them showing when you open a door on mid stiles and I have had complaints about them being dust collectors on the top as well as complaints that you can seem them on decks when you are sitting down. Kerry If i...

Re: Rotate problem in new version
Just downloaded the new version and am trying to rotate a display cube. However my two of the axis inputs are controling the same rotation, so I can't spin it in a horizontal plane. Joe Murphy :? Sometimes it depends on whether you've already rotated it in a different axis. Try resetting x, y &...

Re: 5.2 build 1
Everything is looks great. I am having one small problem when trying to add adjustable shelves and partitions. In the construction settings I set the dado depth to 1/4", click ok, and I get an syntax error message. "Dimensions must be in 1/32" increments". I click "ok"...
