Leo,
Do you have a lot of line drawings in this job? If so delete some and that should cure your problem. I have seen a few jobs with 20-30 pages of line drawings with the out of memory error. When we deleted the drawings the error disappeared.

Robert, To add to what others have already said, we have a number of customers that we machine for. In a lot of cases it has allowed our customers to take on larger jobs then they would normally consider. It also allows them to put out a better finished product for two reasons. One is the precise fi...

A liitle different point of view

Count me in. Actually I just logged onto the forum to post a similar request. Our idea was to be able to specify cut direction for a certain material group but being able to specify direction for each tool within a group would be even more valuble. The reason I finally am getting around to posting t...

Brian, We had the same problem last summer with our 15hp Busch pump, and you are right it can get VERY ugly. After speaking with Thermwood we determined the heater elements in the motor control for the vacuum pump needed to be one size larger. This was a very simple fix and the problem was gone. If ...

Craig, We are not in your area but we perform custom machining for a number of shops throughout the US. I would be happy to speak with you regarding your machining needs. We can machine parts, and ship them to you at a very competetive rate. If you are interested in discussing this further please do...

I am still running 4.94 (No time to upgrade) and we see this on a regular basis. If there are three adjustable shelves each with 5 sets of holes, it will drill 4 sets of holes for each then go back and add the fifth set. This issue has been around so long, I really don't even notice it anymore, but ...

Scott, There are a number of members throughout the US that offer custom machining services. Many shops like myself are easily capable of shipping anywhere in the US. Shipping rates are usually not anywhere near what you would expect. In my opinion it is more important to develop a relationship with...

Rob, We cut a number of rosettes for one customer out of the files Jody is speaking about in the rental library. We took a long blank and screwed it down to the spoildboard parrallel to the edge of the bed.(make sure your screws land outside the finished parts) We then ran the rental program multipl...

Library info

In response to Dan's question in an earlier post, returns are a bit tricky to handle. I would not want anybody to keep and pay for my cabinets if they were not exactly what they wanted. That said, how do you go about making sure someone has returned them? Actually the whole thing is out of the desig...

Joe, Yes I agree that a video could be a very powerfull tool, at least for some. It all depends on what market you are trying to hit. We are all tool junkies, so to see a new tool (especially a router) is incredible. I am just not sure the surgeon's wife down the street would be as impressed as you ...

Dan, I agree the customer should have as much info available as possible. I would rather a customer be able to be certain the offering they are buying (mine, Kerrys or others) is what they actually need. I think Thermwood needs to find a way to provide the potential customer with more info. Also out...

Joe, I do not have a problem with others being able to view JPEGs of my entire library, and I am betting Kerry wouldn't either. My guess is that it would be more difficult for Thermwood to prepare the libraries if they had to make every JPEG viewable on the web. Actually the basic design of the cabi...
