Re: Can You
Because I didn't even bother to read the O.P. (and still haven't) without a better subject description.Gary Puckett wrote:I respecfully would like to know why you replied to a simple title of a post, rather than the question.

Re: Can You
Forum etiquette dictates a more descriptive Subject when starting a new thread. Not a requirement; more of a suggestion.

Re: Come Out, Come out, where ever you are
Gary, I think you're missing the point. Any list posted previously has likely changed. Any list posted today will likely change. Nailing down features for a software product still in development is like trying to gather piglets on the loose.

Re: Come Out, Come out, where ever you are
What's forthcoming for V6 has already been discussed here on this forum by both the CEO and the Vice President of the division. As with any software in development, more can be added from a desired "wish list" but features can also be removed from the "wish list" before release. ...

In testing, Windows 7 has been very positive, both for v5 and v6 Beta.

Re: Come Out, Come out, where ever you are
Just to let everyone know, Windows 7 has been a part of the testing of Version 6. Since v6 is still in Beta, odds are very good that any discrepancies that should be found between it and Windows 7 would be resolved. I doubt there will ever be an "official" blessing of Windows 7 for eCabine...

Re: Virtual Hard Drive
I've been following SSD development for a little while now and have not decided to move any of our equipment (servers or desktops) to SSD's just yet. This is a fairly new technology, while not far removed from the typical USB flash drive, they are quite different beasts. SSD's must keep track of the...

Re: maintenance question
Darren, I can give a quick reply to this, but I'm no expert. From what I understand, the maintenance schedule isn't just machine hours, but more complicated than that. The system tracks use of individual components independently, too. The air conditioner filter is most likely based on machine hours,...

Re: Making ghost image of OS/2 hard drive
I can add a couple caveats to Ryan's posting. Some motherboards of the day (remember, we're talking OS/2 days here) had a maximum disk drive size capability. Some motherboards it was 8GB, some 20GB, and some 137GB. I can virtually guarantee that you would not be able to use a drive bigger than 137GB...
