Re: Corner Drawer Cabinet

Honestly, I have done a couple of those over the years, and I will tell you that you will lose money, there totally useless and there are many other ways to use the space more effectively. With that said, if they insist on it, make sure they pay dearly and you dont end up losing any chance of a prof...

Re: Curved Cabinet Design

HI John, Honestly,I love e-cabs,but radius work is tough to do in e-cabs. Your really have to build your parts in part editor, starting with a display panel. This will give you something that will machine. If your looking for something to render, I would use another approach sac as cabinets, etc. I w...

Re: Nesting sequsnced flat panel doors?

Gary, You could draw a room and drop all of them into it rather than a batch, then e-cabs would assign a cabinet number that would show on your label or printout. If you use this I would probably do it in 4 rooms or so,room 1, room 2, etc. I have trouble when you get up around 100 cabinets or more. ...

Re: Failed to create toolpath error

Re: Cab # on parts when printed

Forrest, what would you think of marking the parts with the router? I know of a few shops with other machinery/software that use a small tool and engrave each part, although I dont think it marks edge banding. I really like the edge banding on the labels though, both for location and specifing what ...

Re: Cab # on parts when printed

Thank Forrest, I understand, the labels can be work, we also mark stain grade work rather than label, learned that from a cutting customer complaint..... I have not used the flip op first feature, I usually jump on new features but decided to see how this one turned out. Sounds like it is working we...

Re: Cab # on parts when printed

Hi Forrest, do you have a reason for not using labels. I do know they can get salty, but is there another reason? Do you also mark edge banding by hand? Just curiuos to know if you have a better way.... My only reason that I might like to avoid labels is the time we waste taking them off exposed are...

Re: Cutting a part in PE

Brian, if I undestand what your trying to do. I use a rectangle and cover what I want to cut out and then right click, set to cut through and it will remove anything inside the rectangle. This could be half the part, a notch out of the part or the whole part... You can do it with your mouse if not cr...

Re: shelve hole settings

Ya, you have to center the first shelf with whatever holes you want, then turn the holes off, and then when you place add shelves, do not equalize the spaces or it will move the holes with the origonal holes. If you really need to show the proper shelf space you have to do a little math and adjust you...

Re: Blind dado and outline cut not aligning - Help

Have you got this resolved?
I was having some things like this happening and with Ryan's help we eliminated code, then I eliminated tool, spindle and toolholders.
It ended up being a drive belt was worn and torn.
Pull you covers and check your belts.....
