Re: Refrigerator Cabinet
Dickey,
If your not cutting this on a Thermwood CNC you could try selecting cut line on the top left of the nesting screen.
Also in your settings/preferences check your saw blade kerf and your true shape nesting cutter diameter.
Hope this helps.

Re: Tips for Using LDE?
Hi Nat,
When in LDE make sure the "Room" tab is selected. Click on one of the cabinets and it should select the room, everything in the room should turn green.
Hold Shift and both mouse buttons and drag your mouse back or forward to zoom

Re: Changing the default sheet location setting?
Dale,
Also make sure while you are in nesting paramaters that you tick the selection box for Nest to edge of sheet.
All the settings you change in here will stay the same until you change them again....

Hi Fred,
I could be way off here but can you not draw them up in eCabs and use the constraint manager where needed?

Re: Tool Length Measuring
James, In the tool manager, is it asking for a daylight value? Our machine here is 5 years old so I'm not 100% sure that the configuration is the same. The daylight value is from the tip of the tool to the top of the spoil board so doing a touch off should do the trick for you if you record your Z v...

Re: Through shelf holes?
I just tried it and it doesnt seem to work unfortunately! It still reads it as a flip operation for some strange reason. Looking at the CNC file it is only cutting to 1/2 the material thickness.

Re: Through shelf holes?
Just a thought with the dado which I will have a look at for you today, you may be able to set the dado depth to less than half the material thickness then change the depth clearance to suit. I'll try to have a look at this for you later on

Re: Part editor cut for butt hinge
Sorry Sean, I forgot to reply to your message! I did try ticking the no outlines box in settings but it seems that it still allows for an outline cut in the sizes etc. Rather odd actually, I would have thought selecting no outline would take everything to do with the outline cut out of the program b...

Re: Part editor cut for butt hinge
HI Dennis, Thank you very much for that, i'll flick them an upside down email as soon as i've made my morning cuppa coffee! I'm thinking straight G code will work best for the first one as it's for a standard sized door. Doing it as AFL would mean I would have to re-enter information every time I ru...

Re: Part editor cut for butt hinge
Hi Thom, thanks for that. I think I have actually worked out that this can't be done in eCabinets at all because the doors are all pre made and cut to size. If I put them on the router just for operation purposes using control nesting it automatically allows for an outline cut aswell. Unless I can s...

Re: Part editor cut for butt hinge
Hi Thom, Thanks for the tip but the part I need to fillet is on the edge of the door and you can only fillet on the front or back from memory?? Sorry I haven't been texting you back, i have been really flat out when I get your texts then I forget to reply lol. How is everything with you? Things here...

Part editor cut for butt hinge
Hi all, Hopefully someone can help me here. I am working on machining some house doors on our CNC, I have drawn them up in eCabs so I can use the part editor to machine the rebate for the butt hinges. I dont have a problem drawing the rebate but in the bottom corners of the rebates I need a 10mm rad...

Hi Ben,
I'm not 100% sure but I think this is a standard feature already loaded in the Gen2 controller. It could possibly be hiding in the Macro files somewhere.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong
