Re: corner cabinet resizing fail

Mark, I am not sure what was going on with it, but I removed the PE cuts from the top and put them back on and added back the constraints and it seems to be working now. I sent you an email with my modified cabinet for you to use or review. I will get it to the programmer in the morning to examine i...

Re: corner cabinet resizing fail

Mark,

If you attach or email the cabinet, I will take a look at it for you. If you choose to email, send it to cabinets@thermwood.com with attn: Scott in the subject. Please post a reply here letting me know if you emailed it in case it gets caught in our spam filter.

Re: Drilling operations on part editor geometry

Don,
The holes in the back of your drawer boxes are .2362" in diameter! You do not have a drill set up to handle this. You either need to add a drill at .2362" dia. or make your holes .25" in diameter in the part editor.

Re: Drilling operations on part editor geometry

Don, This is done all the time, so I just need to see what you are doing and the settings that are used. Please send the cabinet or job you are creating the twd from, the twd itself, and an export from Shopbot Link and I will look into it for you. It may be best to email them to cabinets@thermwood.c...

Re: Drilling operations on part editor geometry

Don,

Yes. In the SB Link you need to set up an operation tool that is set to only Drill and is set to the correct diameter. That's it!

Re: Way to large mortices

Question, As I go back into the job file, loaded into my Ecab's Link, to turn off the parts already run as well as the Left and Right sides that will need to be part edited for the revised notches, I cant help but feel frustrated at the Links jumbling of the cabinet orders from Ecabs. Ecab tags cab...

Re: Way to large mortices

Tim, I have been doing CNC for a long time now and over those years I have found two fairly simple ways to get the inside corners cleared using just the outline tool (allowing a square part to fit all the way into the corner(s)) . This method uses geometry in the Contour area and then cutting it thr...

Re: Way to large mortices

Tim, That is by design. Control Nesting will automatically overshoot full dados by the radius of the tool that is machining them so that the mating part will fit. If you don't, the part will not lay flat or fit in from the end because the radius corners would prevent it (in other words, you cannot p...

Re: Issues entering door via batch cabinets

Mark,

FYI, another stopgap for this issue is to always press the enter key after entering in the width. (when you press enter, you will see the mm get added to the value).

Re: Issues entering door via batch cabinets

Has anyone else had gremlins when entering doors through the batch cabinets area? It works okay for a couple of doors then changes the sizes. Its not a feature I have used before. Video illustrating the issue https://vimeo.com/132011071 Mark, We see what is happening here and will have it resolved ...

Re: Blum Tandembox Sink Drawer Unit Help?

Thanks Scott, Good idea about the pockets instead of the profile cut, that way I can apply the edging. Nope the center section is just waste. The small piece will act as the back of the cutout. See attached link, will give an idea. Thanks for your help. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5-HsEvQLkc Y...
