\"The issue is real, and having the drawer min depth increment set to 21 or whatever doesn't keep the software from \"insetting\" the doors when cab depth is increased AFTER cab design is done and saved as a seed. \" Gene, In my shop I call making changes AFTER the cab design is ...

Gene, Rick has nailed it - set the drawer box minimum to the depth of your preferred drawer box. I use Blum Tandems, so I set it at 21\" for kitchen cabs. Then the cabinet can be any depth over 21\" - which can get you into trouble knowing the Blum slide needs an extra inch for operation -...

Mike, I have had this problem for the last few loads/versions of eCabs. I have an evolving entertainment center (project from hell with customer from hell) and I'm on version 7 of the design. I cannot delete any of the old assemblies using the eCab program. Now I'm sure I could manually kill them us...

Dan,

Incredible job! Beautful work. I want to see the sofa, and you, on Antiques Roadshow. How high will you jump if they tell you $50k? Great job.

Damon,

Your rendering looks outstanding - I need to get to your point of expertise. By the way, your rendering looks so good I think you left your eCabinets laptop on the kitchen counter

Leo, You have a hybrid cabinet design - faceframes turned on but no faceframe between the drawers (looks like frameless). I think I would add the 3/32 faceframe and leave it - just name it \"do not cut\". I think the drawers are dependant on the faceframe and removing it disturbs the progr...

Michael, That did the trick, thanks! Still wondering what I was doing wrong. I'll worry about it in the morning, maybe.... The hand is just fine - more than enough to get the job done. May look a little funny but it gets the job done. Darn grateful it does - I don't ever want to have to go back to t...

Everyone, OK, I give up. I follow the steps and can create a \"cabinet\" that contains only a door. I can use it in assemblies, no problem. I can't seem to place it in a room, however. I'm no master of custom layout - so what can I be doing wrong? I bring up a room, load a few other cabine...

Todd,

Welcome to the forum!

You can take your partition to the part editor and cut out the notch.

Highlight the partition, click the part editor radio button (13th from left) then make your cut to remove material. See the learning guide about the part editor for more info.

Take care,

Jay,

That's odd....

I just checked Hafele's website and it's still on sale for $229 with free shipping for any order over $250. Contact them and open an account and place that first order - those racks are great.

Hi George, The racks are from Hafele; they had a sale this spring and I paid $229 with free shipping. I'm not sure what their regular price is but I would guess it's $299. Their part number is 007.91.141 - give Melanie at Thermwood a call and see what she can get them for. Maybe the co-op could get ...

Joe,

I had a good day too - spraying a big bookcase with conversion varnish. I was hoping it would cool down though, and it didn't. Was near 90 in the shop/spray booth. It's still retarder season!!!!
